Hotel wasn't what I expected and compared to the Mercure hotel here in Perthit was very poor. The rooms were very small and the beds were very uncomfortable. My bed had a spring sticking out of the mattress which I kept getting my pyjamas caught on, my daughters bed every time she moved the bed would creak and wake us up. The breakfast wasn't what I would call top of the range as there was either no breakfast bowls or they were straight out of the dishwasher and red hot as were the glasses for your fruit juice. The staff seem to be very uninterested in your needs. This hotel would't be onthe top of my list to stay at again.

Nice hotel in very central location

This hotel really worked well for us. It is very centrally located on the edge of Chinatown, with loads of great restaurants nearby. We walked everywhere. The rooms were clean, and very adequate, not luxurious, but very good for the price

Near the Chinatown which is the clean and safe even at night. All you need can be found around the hotel. The room is small but everything is ok and keeps to the standards of the brand of the hotel group. Why most of hotels in Australia with no free Wi-Fi!?????

Definitely its great location, tram stations were just around the corner for us to move around the city - just buy daily pass. As muslims we don't have problem on food - couples of 'halal' restaurants were just around the corner. Can easily buy souvenir at very reasonable price at Victoria Market (within walking distance). Couples of special events during weekend around the city had added colours on our 'honeymoon' - lucky to have bum Turkey Cultural Festival at Victoria Market on the beautiful Sunday morning.
Very pleasent vacation/trip indeed.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Package trips to some of places were quite expensive. For family, better to rent car.
For city tour - just get the tram - buy daily pass, you can go anywhere.

The hotel is near chinatown in melbourne. There are plenty of food and shopping around the area. It is a short walk to Victoria market (about 20 mins).

fantastic location with petite rooms
excellent location, great in room facilities for the price we paid

rooms were small but comfortable and we were pleasantly suprised with facilities (bigger than average fridge, sink toaster,kettle microwave) the location was fantastic, i would definitely stay here again but a significant drawback which some people might find negative is the walls are thin and its quite noisy at night because you can also hear the water gushing through the pipes if other people in nearby rooms are showering or flushing their bathrooms.

Located near China Town which is a great location to find day tour and close to the gathering point. Many restaurants around opened till very late. Supermarkets like Coles and Woolworths are near by.
Hotel room is clean. Room size is ok. Reception is polite and helpful. Free luggage storage.

We loved the location of this hotel, on the edge of Chinatown. There are loads of restaurants nearby, and you can walk everywhere,it is smack in the center of town. The hotel does have some weird configured rooms, if you are unhappy with your room, ask to see others. Overall, nice and clean and good experience. This hotel covers all the basics.
