Fast elevator, spacious room and super comfortable king bed. 8.3 The Metro is in a fantastic position in the Melbourne CBD in the midst of bars, cafes, take aways, restaurants and nightclubs and close to the major shopping streets. We had a one bedroom apartment with kitchenette/laundry on the 9th floor. While the hotel is situated in a very lively nightlife area with street noise until late, we were not bothered by this in our top floor room. The kitchenette included fridge, sink, convection microwave, 2 electric hot plates, kettle, toaster and ample pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The lounge/dining area was large, as was the bedroom. The ensuite was small but functional. Furniture throughout was comfortable. The only negative about the room is the lack of good lighting, everything else was just perfect.
