it was new years eve and we expected an element of chaos..but no...everything was well organised and the staff were as pleasant and accommodating as they have been on previous none festive season occasions.
Travel tip:
Stroll across Albert Park, or around its lake, directly in font of the hotel, to work up your appetite for dinner at one of the numerous good eating places located on the other side of the park in St Kilda. The variety is enormous, the quality good, and the choices up or down market to suit the needs of your day or your pocket. Walk back the same way or take a taxi ...there are many about.

The place was really great, the staff were extremely friendly and carting towards my needs. The room was also very nice, being very large and spacious. On top of that the beds were amazingly comfy, that just made me want to snooze whenever I would lay down on top of them. The only thing that I didn't really like was the tv and remote for the room. The guide said access to foxtel channels, however the channel selection is very limited as well as being difficult to use and find channels. However, this was only a minor setback as we did not use the television much anyway.
