Close to melbourne central and elizabeth street buissness district. Very professional staff. Clean and comfortatble rooms.

Place has very good location in the city center. Close to every corner of the city.Easy access to the transport as well as shopping places.
Staff tried its best but seems a bit preocupied but always replied to request. If coming next time I will stay again.
Room was big , clean and ready by the time we got back

First time at Somerset and was impressed with the friendly staff and clean rooms.
Enjoyed the short walks to all the shopping malls and restaurants. will definitely recommend to all my friends and will return to stay at this venue.

all good no problem would recommend to anyone close to eats no bars close smoking rooms which is nice breakfast cont only but ok close to bourke st mall little bourke st china town all good to me mini mart across st close to city centre taxi easy to get trams at front door nice room air cond washing machine no instructions and hard to use due not knowing doesn't have dry i think not sure towels good all good no proiblem

my wife and i stayed for 2 nights during a recent visit to melbourne. the location is fantastic being almost next to myers shopping mall at little bourke street. it is right in the centre of the city and a 10 minute walk to victoria market.
the room was very spacious and comfortable with a separate sitting are and flat screen tv and the staff were courteous.
being at elizabeth street also made it convenient for our friends to come and pick us up.
i would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again in my next visit to melbourne.

it was a lovely location but the room was a bit dated though very functional. i did pull the blanket down to use and it did not look as clean as i would have liked but overall it was ok.
