The hotel was great, we were here for a wedding and very happy with everything. Only negative is the 3 pm check in but having said that check out is later than normal so it evens out.

The bed was so comfortable we bought some pillows to take home. It is in a great location ... but because I didn't print out my Agoda receipt, and even though we booked a Grand River View room - that isn't what we got. On my return home I complained and they gave me back the difference after a few email exchanges (all pleasant) but I have to say that it was disaapointing that they didn't have a record of our booking. Apparently we couldn't be moved because there were no rooms of that sort left. Apart from that , it is a lovely hotel.

Checked in was very friendly, he asked us why we were in Melbourne and we told him it was our wedding anniversary.
Later that day when we returned to our room from some shopping in town we found a plate with chocolate mud cake with the words happy anniversary written on the plate in chocolate along with a note wishing us the best from all the team at the Langham. This made us feel very special. The Langham is the only Hotel for us in Melbourne and things like this are the reason we keep coming back.
