Central location,
helpful staff,
coffee/tea in room,
better price than most Perth Hotels
Excellent hotel for a brief stay in Perth. Small room, but adequate, very clean. Kettle, coffee etc provided in the room - useful if you arrive late or leave early.
Staff helpful, good bar/restaurant (My Place) attached to hotel.
Central location, 5 minutes walk to local shops and mall, 10 minutes walk from Northbridge, where there is a large selection of restaurants etc.
Room was a little small if you are planning to stay more than 2 or 3 nights, but very good value compared to other surrounding hotels.
Nightlife Tip : walk to Northbridge, about 10 minutes away

get what you pay for, no perks, but wasnt expecting much.
The location is great, easy to reach the city and get to the train station to get out to the coast and other suburbs. Nothing special, but you get what you pay for, fine with me. The downstairs bar is great and guests get happy hour prices all day and night, just let them know you're staying upstairs.
Nightlife Tip : Tell the bar at the hotel you're staying upstairs. Happy hour prices all night.

The location was good, very close to Murray St.Mall, the station and only a 10 minute walk to Northbridge. Also the airport shuttle bus drops off right outside the hotel. There is a bar that leads off from the lobby area with indoor and outdoor seating.
Quite run down and in need of many repairs. Beds very small in the twin standard suite. Noisy if room facing the street.
Overall an ok budget hotel for a night or two. Even though a bit run down and outdated it was clean and cozy.Conveniently located to get about town.Staff were mostly friendly and helpful with any questions about the area/services making bookings for taxis etc. I would stay again if on a budget trip.
Shopping Tip : Close to the mall and several good, cheap Asian food restaurants.

central, close to transport networks, clean, tidy good restaurant for the traveller, well priced
maintenace slack - I waited three days for a replacement light bulb I could have bought for 50cents.
usefull location for the visitor, good to have a relatively cheap laundry on site and not needing to find launderette. The wi fi internet is very expensive and at least twice to three time internet cafes in the immediate neighbourhood.
Staff helpful but very busy. Its obviously a popular place.
Shopping Tip : right in the shopping precinct. Plenty of iinternet cafes to choose from.

- LOCATION !!!
- Perth city is within the walking distance
- Red cat bus stop is right in front of the hotel
- Luggage room for guests
- Shower room. Need improvement asap
- Small room but fully furnished
- Very loud music from the pub next to the hotel
If this is your first trip to Perth and you want to live close to the city and shopping area, then this place is a perfect place for you. Not also the Red Cat Bus is right in front of the hotel, but also the airport shuttle bus (booking require). The hotel is close to everything, you can walk to Hay St. and Murray St. You can also walk to the Pier and relax at the park near the Swan River.
Hotel Feature Tip : Request the high floor room so you won't have to listen to this very loud music !!

The major selling point that I can say for this hotel is the location, very well located in the middle of the Perth city.
Went to Perth with my wife and our little baby. We arrived at the hotel around 8.00 am, where the airport shuttle bus dropped us right in front of the hotel. We had our breakfast at the popular Swedish hotel, just across the road. Paid AUD50 for early checked-in. Agreed that the hotel was near to Hay and Murray Street, the shopping area. Just 5 minutes walking distance. From the hotel to the Swan River in other hand took around 10 minutes by walking. Moreover, for those who are concern about getting halal food, don't worry because there was a halal food restaurant just a few steps from the hotel, located along the Swedish pastry shop. Actually you can find 2 other halal food restaurants near the hotel if you are happy to walk around, which were also just within walking distance. The bathroom was clean, and yes, it was inside the room, complete with smoothed flow of hot shower. It was also easy to get a bus because the bus stop was located just across the street, in front of the Curtin University, Perth Campus. You can go to Perth Mint from this bus stop. Tourist are welcome to take advantage of the free bus service in Perth city. Even though the room was small, it was not really a big issue because most of the time we spent our time exploring what the Perth has to offer and only came back to the hotel at night to sleep. However, one thing that I hope the hotel will improve in the future is the air conditioned, which I think it's a little bit old fashion, just like the one they display in their website. My overall opinion, the hotel was perfectly located in shopping area plus easy to get halal food and the room should be ok for 2 persons.
Restaurant Tip : Try the Smörgåsbord breakfast at the Swedish hotel facing the Aaron Hotel.

Great location. Good bar and restaurant downstairs.
This hotel is in a fantastic location. The best hotel in Perth for the price. you won't be dissapointed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is internet and a good bar/restaurant downstairs. The room and hotel itself were obviously very old. The security lock on my door was broken.... but for the price and location, this hotel can't be beat.

The staff were friendly.
There were a lot brochures on tours.
The hotel is within walking distance from the malls, food-outlets and shopping centres.
The hotel is at a busy traffic area and it is not easy to park your car to unload your bags.
The hotel has only a few parking lots so it is almost impossible to park there overnight.
For a short stay, the hotel in passable. It is located in an area very near to malls, shopping centres and food-outlets. If you are interested in the city, it is the place to stay. If you are interested in self-drive to visit the nearby areas, then you have the disadvantage of not getting a parking lot at the hotel. If you are staying for a few days, the room will be cleaned by 3 pm. So if you are going out, remember to come back after 3 pm if you want a cleaned room.

excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff. Inexpensive and easy to get to airport from here. Stayed only one night and facilities were adequate for a short stay.
room slightly on the small side, aircon is verging on the prehistoric but just about works though some instructions would be handy
The hotel was in a great location and easy to find, just a short walk from Perth central station. Desk staff were helpful and saved us time and money by recommending to take a taxi to the airport. However, we booked our room through agoda.com and paid through them, but the hotel tried to charge us again...would be nice to have wi-fi in rooms, but internet cafes are a plenty round this area. If you're looking for somewhere to stay for an extended period this probably isn't the hotel for you.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take a trip on the wheel, good views of Perth and the price won't break the bank.

This hotel is very strange, it's location is fantastic but it leaves a lot to be desired. With a little love it could be a fantastic place but it's very rough round the edges. It's very dated, if fact it's fair to say it needs a fair bit of work. The staff were friendly but lacked the professional touch. On arriving they never knew how long we were staying & they gave us the wrong room type. They were very helpful though. The overall standard of the room was average. It was small and badly designed. Wardrobes pushed right up against one side of the bed & very little room for bag storage.
Overall, it was a decent place but i'd not stay again. Thank God for the location though
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go down to Fremantle - great location to watch the sunset

good location, helpful staff
strictly 0200 check-in time, not really flexible
Extremely good location of this hotel, very close to all major shopping areas and restaurants, also close to bus and train station. All are in walking distance. Hotel staff quite helpful.
But this hotel is holding a strict rules: 0200PM ALWAYS IS THE CHECK-IN TIME, eventhough the guest was waiting at the hotel lobby and stared at the hotel receptionist from 0900AM til 1330PM..no any excuse and not flexible to guest.
Limited choice of the tv channel and menu of room service.
Hotel also not provided any tooth brush, shower cap or slippers, not parallel to the room rates.

centrally situated
relatively good rates compared to those of other hotels in the vicinity
cleaningness!
3 bubles were out in my room
air conditioning noisy and rather inefficient
old TV set with bad reception
I think this hotel was probably good in the past, but obviously there are deficiencies in its maintenance !
Shopping Tip : all sorts of shopping can be done around the hotel, idem for restaurants and bars

Location of course is prime and rates very reasonable. Signs of refurbishment to facilities and amenities e.g. massage chairs in lobby, better equipped bar. Reception staff very knowledgeable and helpful.
I stayed for 7 days. Extremely noisy during weekend. Room especially bedlinen not sanitary...I actually had problems with ticks and and cockroaches in the room! Pest control required! Bedspread torn, tatty and need replacement. Some repairs had been done to the tap in the room toilet but the job was sloppy (white putty lying around). Public toilets on ground floor can do with some improvement. Cleaning staff appear to be foreign workers and cannot communicate well.
This was my second time at Aarons; stayed for 7 days. Still chose hotel - prime location and resonable rates; marked improvement in facilities and amenities; knowledgeable and helpful reception staff. But horrors! I had to contend with ticks and cockroaches in my room! Noise level mainly due to happy hours at bar downstairs during weekend was horrendous...and I was on the top (7th) floor.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Brochures galore in the lobby on local tours and hotel staff very helpful in facilitating arrangements for guests.
