Stunning hotel with fantastic restaurant
Food, comfort and service.

Only issue was rooms weren't ready for check in at 3pm. Drink vouchers were given whilst waiting but as some people get married here, if you wanted to check in and get dressed this would have been very inconvenient.

We Stayed four nights- and we couldn't have asked for more. The rooms were large and clean. The staff friendly and attentive. The pool was crystal clear and relaxing.

EXCELLENT, A VERY ENJOYABLE FEW DAYS OVER THE AUSTRALIA DAY LONG WEEKEND. GREAT VIEW OF THE FIREWORKS. COMFORTABLE BED, SPACIOUS CLEAN FAULTLESS ROOMS AND A FABULOUS SWIMMING POOL. GREAT CHOICE OF RESTAURANTS AND BARS. IF TRAVELLING WITH CHILDREN ALSO THE OPTION OF MCDONALDS & SUBWAY ALL VERY EASILY ACCESSIBLE.

Great Weekend Away with the Family

We enjoyed the pool area most, with our 6 and 8 year old children being entertained all day long. The room was comfortable given we didn't spend much time there, but may have been cramped had the weather kept us indoors. We would prefer a family room, or two bedroom option? Once the food court re-opens it would offer better dining options for a family, and hopefully a good coffee you won't have to go into the casino to find!

Living up to a reputation!
first impression of the hotel is WOW! when you drive up you are greeted by a concierge and check in is very quick and hassle free. The Lobby is tastefully decorated and inviting. Our room was great with a bath that had sliding doors that over looked the room through to your view out the window,which was lovely, although I did expectthe room to feel a bit more luxurious.Overall it was very clean and neat. The Atrium restaurant in the Lobby was fully booked for dinner but as guests of the hotel they made sure we could get a table when we walked in which was great.The Emporium is another great eating spot when you don't want to spend a lot on a full reaurant meal, as it is more of a food court set up. The pool area was beautiful,with an indoor heated pool and spa and outdoor pool and spa.

The Intercontinental Burswood has quite a high reputation around Perth and having just moved from Perth city to the country we thought we would treat ourselves to one of Perth's finest! Now, after having stayed there I would have to say that yes it was lovely, but not the finest or most luxurious around. Our room was nice, clean, comfortable and had a funky sliding bath door that over looked the room, but to be honest it didn't stand out as exceptionally 5 star as opposed to other lower rated hotels in the city. The mini bar was extremely over priced as they often are, but I had to laugh at AU$8 for a bottle of water you can buy for $2-$3 elsewhere! The room was spacious enough for a porta cot and a 4 yr old but other than the pool there was little else for the kids to do. Overall the restaurants are a little pricey but that is to be expected and they do have the emporium food court as a cheaper more casual option. Parking is an additional cost if you wish to park fairly close, otherwise expect a 5-10min walk to the Lobby from the outer surrounding carparks. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. It was a great get away but probably not huge value for money or neccesarily the place for kids.
Nightlife Tip:
Great having the Casino, night club/bars, restaurants all on hand without needing a car or taxi.
