We had a lot of fun there are so many entertainment options available, staff were helpful and friendly, the room was very comfortable and clean.

Only complaint was that the food was not that pleasant at the Atrium buffet. In future we would try one of the many other options available.

We really had a fun time and staff were very helpful and friendly. Unlike other hotels there are a lot of entertainment and meal options available 24hrs. We stayed in the executive suit and would greatly recommend to anyone this upgrade in future. The room was clean and had amazing views of the river and city. We are keen to go again as we really had a good time and are keen to try the other eating options.

Hotel Feature Tip : The upgrade to an executive suit is worth the extra money for the spa, view and access to the club lounge.

Big, well appointed rooms. Comfortable and clean. Stylish hotel appearance

When parking no help or directions from valet staff. No help with bags.

The hotel has a stylish appearance with interesting exterior and outstanding lobby. Parking is not good, with improvements needed to help arriving guests. Help with bags was not offered. Reception staff are efficient and courteous with check in being quick. Restaurants are good with a wide variety of dishes and range to suit all budgets. Gym is good and bike hire is reasonably priced. The bikes are good and tracks easily accessible. The rooms are large and comfortable. Internet is expensive as are room service meals. TV is large, with good choice of channels and clear picture.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hire the bikes. Great way to see the city

first impression of the hotel is WOW! when you drive up you are greeted by a concierge and check in is very quick and hassle free. The Lobby is tastefully decorated and inviting. Our room was great with a bath that had sliding doors that over looked the room through to your view out the window, which was lovely, although I did expectthe room to feel a bit more luxurious.Overall it was very clean and neat. The Atrium restaurant in the Lobby was fully booked for dinner but as guests of the hotel they made sure we could get a table when we walked in which was great. The Emporium is another great eating spot when you don't want to spend a lot on a full reaurant meal, as it is more of a food court set up. The pool area was beautiful, with an indoor heated pool and spa and outdoor pool and spa.

We happened to stay when the "Wiggles" were in concert there and this caused huge problems with parking as they do not seem to reserve parks especially for hotel guests unless you pay $30 for Valet parking, or $10 in the undercover area so we drove around for almost an 1 hr just trying to get a park even after deciding to pay $10 where there were supposedly plenty of parks for guests, but unfortunately there was not. They did send up a complimentary fruit platter and wine as an apology. Eating is fairly expensive in most of the restaurants and don't even look at opening the mini bar water at AU$8!

The Intercontinental Burswood has quite a high reputation around Perth and having just moved from Perth city to the country we thought we would treat ourselves to one of Perth's finest! Now, after having stayed there I would have to say that yes it was lovely, but not the finest or most luxurious around. Our room was nice, clean, comfortable and had a funky sliding bath door that over looked the room, but to be honest it didn't stand out as exceptionally 5 star as opposed to other lower rated hotels in the city. The mini bar was extremely over priced as they often are, but I had to laugh at AU$8 for a bottle of water you can buy for $2-$3 elsewhere! The room was spacious enough for a porta cot and a 4 yr old but other than the pool there was little else for the kids to do. Overall the restaurants are a little pricey but that is to be expected and they do have the emporium food court as a cheaper more casual option. Parking is an additional cost if you wish to park fairly close, otherwise expect a 5-10min walk to the Lobby from the outer surrounding carparks. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. It was a great get away but probably not huge value for money or neccesarily the place for kids.

Nightlife Tip : Great having the Casino, night club/bars, restaurants all on hand without needing a car or taxi.
