In a quiet spot in Perth's east, this property allows guests to enjoy a self-catering holiday with the perks of a city central location. Located on Hay Street, the spacious Mont Clare Boutique Apartments offer inner city living, each suite equipped with full kitchen, TV and stereo, laundry facilities and air-conditioning. The property is handy to the Explorer tram stop but for a less conspicuous ride into the shopping area, the free CAT bus stops right outside the door. For walkers, Perth center is only ten minutes away on foot, the WACA cricket ground is five minutes down the road and the bank of the Swan River is two blocks away.

Nicely furnished and equipped.
No aircond or fan in rooms. Reception person wasnt really that helpful.
Mont Clare Boutique apartment is not bad. We stayed there for slightly over a week and found the place quite suitable for small family. Bedroom, toilet and kitchen are nicely equiped. Has washer, dryer, dish washer, etc.
Thebad side of the hotel is that there were no aircond nor fan in each individual room making it stuff if doors are shut. Place is in town but is at the far edge takin approx. 20 mins to walk to town. However, it conveniently has a CAT bus stop in from of the hotel. (CAT is a free bus transport that goes round the city)

reception staff were a bit "dippy"
If, like us, you are arriving on that very late flight into Perth - just make sure you contact the hotel DIRECTLY beforehand to mkae sure your keys are left in the Key safe outside.
AGODA did not tell us this, but after checking the hotels webiste myself i noted that reception closed at 5pm. Arrangements were made for key collection and this went smoothly.
2 cafes across the road for brekky. A very easy and good value 1 night stop for us. Recommended for this purpose.
Travel tip : Thrifty car rental is located just around the corner. Very handy .
