For photo opportunities and family picnics, it would be hard to go past the adjacent King's Park where native flora and fauna provide a backdrop to a collection of Australian war memorials.

Clean, spacious, location.

Parking, towel reuse.

Mounts Bay Water Apartments in Perth is located on the edge of the city, a good walk from the centre. We rented a two bedroom apartment for my wife and I, and our two teenage children. The rooms were clean, spacious and well appointed. Our only gripes were (1) although there was undercover parking available, it was quite difficult to find a non-private space; and (2) being environmentally minded, we were happy to re-use our towels, and hung them on the rails accordingly, unfortunately the cleaning staff issued us new towels.
