The perth ambassador hotel was ok. The room was small but nice however the bathroom is very old and needs to be renovated. The breakfast was nice and had a good choice of food. Also has a good choice of food for lunch and dinner. The hotel is very close to perth cbd where there is good shopping. A good stay.

Hotel needs refursbishment

I was a bit disappointed with this hotel, older room, aircon not working well, it was very cold inside and the aircon could not warm the room up even at max. I chose this hotel based on reviews and affordable price but i did not enjoy my stay. Maybe I was not lucky and got the worst room, however I would not stay there again. I felt like staying in a old backpack room for an hotel room price and felt it was a rip off.

i would most definitely go back to this hotel without hesitation. the rooms were clean, good sized and quiet. nice big tv so you can watch easily in bed. the ability to use internet in the room was a bonus. my only negative comment was the breakfast. i found the hot food too cold. i would recommend this hotel.

Realistically priced hotel

Considering we only needed the hotel for 6 hrs it was the best priced one we could find that suited.
They couldn't find our booking and the room that we'd booked was booked out so they gave us an upgrade.
Good staff and room was ok.

A standard clean room, no big extras for the money. No wifi? Not even at a cost?... Limited tv chanels , 15min walk from the cbd.

we stayed at the ambassador for a weekend because my wife needed somewhere quiet. of the various deals on offer, we chose the ambassador because of its convenience and the free broadband.
the room wasn't very large, but it was certainly adequate (though the bar fridge was tiny and the shower stall rather cramped), and everything was clean and well-maintained. the staff were young, friendly, and extremely helpful, if not always particularly fluent in english. there was no actual room service, but the cafe staff downstairs would prepare very reasonable meals
while the rack rate seems rather high compared to some other perth hotels we've stayed in, at a discounted night for a double room (plus for parking) i think it's quite satisfactory and would certainly consider staying there again.
