Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

avoid!
where do i start??? not so much a holiday as an experience...
the main problem with the hotel is its age. our room looked like it hadnt been used since before wwii. the blankets reminded me of my late grandmother and the furniture was plain, made of ply wood and unpainted. the style can only be described as 19th century, but not in an antique way, more of a i-havent-spent-a-dime-on-this-hotel-since-1850 kind of way. the newest thing in the room was the invention of electricity itself, although the wiring pre-dated the popular idea that wires are to be covered or placed behind the walls for safety. all wires were exposed, that includes wall sockets, lights and electrical goods. the fridge was placed in a cupboard that breathed as much as a hydroponic set up, thus making the cupboard hot and the fridge useless. both the carpark and hotel elevators were fun to ride because you never knew if you were going to make it. the carpark costs $30 a day and breakfast is $18.50, so you can add $67 to the cost of the room. there is no restaurant, bar or otherwise and the $18.50 gets you breakfast at a cafe several blocks walk away.
i would be interested in talking to the manager/owner of this hotel to express my opinions in person before someone gets very hurt. please make the effort to contact me.
Restaurant Tip:
Tony Romas, the American grill is 1200m away on foot and better than any other restaurant any closer.

Great Location with clean room
5 min walk from underground subway.
6.7
Clean room but old hotel, surrounding nothing much. food and shopping is 20 min walk away. close to Swan river which you can jogging there. Friendly staff, but don't expect much from them. most of the furniture is old but the room is big. poor sound proof which I always hear the next door person speed over the phone.

Hotel close to CBD
Close to tourist sites and eateries
5.3
Friendly and helpful staff at this motel. close to all the good tourist sites.
We were disappointed with our room though. The 'city view' really only looked onto the next building and over the dirty car park. The car park was not easy to access - across a back alley, which was dripping water all the time, and up a dodgy, small lift which didn't stop level with the floor.
Our room was comfortable enough, although the bed only appeared to be a double and not a queen, hard mattress. Our feet hung out over the end!
The bathroom was in need of a renovation - mould around the shower, chipped tiles etc.
No digital TV reception either, only fuzzy analog.
A good modern kitchenette unit with microwave and toaster.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to the Swan Bell Tower.
