Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Nice location, economic stay but a bit old
7.3
The location is very close to the Esplanade train station and just behind St Georges Terrace. The price is very affordable compare to the hotel surrounding. But there's no complimentary drinking water and I found the water from the pipe in bathroom is yellowish! Overall I'm still satisfied with the stay as the receptionist are helpful and polite.

Great location but hotel was very run down
4.7
This hotel was very run down and the cleaning is very average. We has mould on our shower curtain the paint in the bathroom roof was peeling and mouldie we also had our bathroom tap running the whole time that could not be turned off. The beds were ok but nothing special. I'm glad we only stayed for one night. I would have been annoyed of we had to pay more. We will not be staying here again .

Weren't able to get into hotel until after 9.30pm. Staff didn't care and unresponsive when engaged in conversation. Wouldn't recommend and never staying here again.

Good location, but needs some attention
6.3
The rooms are large, but starting to look a bit run down. The price was reasonable compared with other city accommodation. The location is good, with a short walk to shops and the supermarket. Unfortunately it was quite difficult to get a takeaway dinner in this area, and there is no nightlife.
Nightlife Tip:
No closeby takeaway places for dinner.

Everything was old and crappy. Normally you'd have a nice view over the river, and soon you will have, but at the moment they are building a new area, so you look over a big construction site.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You can take a ferry to Rottnest Island, departing close by the Bell tower (which is a 5 minutes walk out front of the hotel) and you'll get information along the river. Hire a bike and a snorkeling kit, you'll gonna love it.

Great location, but only 2 star
Clean, location, helpful staff
6
only a 2 star hotel that needs renovation - very clean but dated. tv did not pickup digital stations but was a flatscreen lcd. only vending machine onsite for snacks and drinks - no room service.
for 20 to $ extra a night, much better can be found but good for those on a busget.
Restaurant Tip:
No real resturants near the hotel at night; needs to walk/get free bus to north end of CBD or over to Northbridge. Restraunts that are nearby are very expensive.

Central position hotel
The position of the hotel allows you to walk Perth city

For a budget hotel it is fine. Large enough room, comfy bed and friendly staff.

Not so good hotel
Hotel is located at city center
4.3
Room is somehow standard, and the hotel was not providing electric socket plug converter (crossovet), because Australia has different socket than US, Asia and Europe. So better to buy yourself at convinience store which is very close to the hotel. Receptionist was not so nice and very welcoming, as i experienced, no positive gesture. The public computer was broken so forget it to send mail freely. You have to buy a voucher for wifi which is quite expensive. Cleanliness is 7 out of 10. I would reccomend for solo traveller for fun and considered as budget hotel, not for family and bussiness traveller
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to bell tower
