The food at lunch and dinner was excellent
Breakfast buffet at 30 Australian dollars is disappointing. At that price I do not expect to have to make the coffee myself.
Staff very nice but at times hard to locate, got the feeling there was nobody in charge
Was staying here for a wedding in nearby Wollombi. Considering the price, I was disappointed with Peppers. On arrival, there was nobody to help carry bags upstairs - no lift. The room was nice, very clean if a little lacking in charm. Bathroom tiny. Dinner was excellent, as was lunch the following day. Restaurant beautifully situated looking over rolling green fields - even saw 2 kangaroos hopping past at breakfast - what a treat! Breakfast however disappointing - buffet, even had to make your own coffee. Wondered what exactly I was paying 30 dollars for? Swimming pool very small and feels outdated. I enjoyed my stay here but definitely do not feel that the hotel matches the prices it charges. Also feel the service was not not up to scratch. Would I stay here again - possibly - if the prices are lowered or the service, rooms, pool, and breakfast are improved.
