Cute room, nice pool area, convenient location. No driveway to the hotel entrance--you have to unload your luggage from the street. Lobby was small, with only two chairs. My husband and I enjoyed our brief stay at the Meridan. We had read great reviews about the hotel and even our transport driver told us we had made a great choice. I was a little surprised at how small it was, especially when we found we were to unload from the street. The lobby was neat, but very small. There really wasn't a seating area, just two small chairs and a small table. However, we felt welcomed when we checked in, although it was 9:15 in the morning, We were allowed to leave our suitcases while we went on our half-day tour, and when we returned at 1:30, the room was ready. I thought that even though the hotel was small, attention was given to the little details that makes a guest feel at home, from the handmade soaps to the dishes and microwaves and well designed pool area. The location was great, and restaurants and stores and shuttles were within easy walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay!
Restaurant Tip : There is a great bakery down the street from the hotel, with fresh goods for breakfast or snacks. We especially enjoyed the breads and the Aussie meat pies!

Very clean, great pool & walking to beach & downtown There was nothing I disliked This was great hotel with walking distance to marina, town & beach. Had a suite with a balcony overlooking the pool. You share a washer & dryer with 1 other room in the entrace hallway of the 2 rooms. The pool was great & the hosts were helpful & booked our excursions for us. Very clean.
