great location friendly and helpful staff

restaurant does not serve lunch or dinner rooms a bit small, but very manageable

The hotel was centrally located to everything in Syndney. Shopping right across the street and the Harbour was only minutes away. Slot machines (pokey's as they call them in Australia) were in the restuarant right next door. Very nice We were disappointed that there was no restaurant on sight for lunch or dinner. You are in the heart of Chinatown and it would have been nice to stay at the hotel for one meal. The snacks they serve in the evening were not much, not just portion, but lacking in taste as well. But the bar staff was as great as the hotel staff. Nice job to all of them.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : When using the map the hotel gives you, go to the harbour from the UTS building, it is much closer.

Location Location Location - Nothing but Location. At the heart of China-Town, 2 min. walking from George Street and a calm 40 min. walk from Sydney's landmarks such as the Opera House the Bay Bridge and Sydney Tower.

Very old building. Feels like a youth motel, without offending such. Tiny and even classtrophobic room and toilet, something that didn't bother the cockroaches...

Indeed the very old building has its owne built-in limits but it could have been a pearl if totaly renovated. In the other hand, the cost would have been much higher and won't fit those who don't want to spend fortune for their overnight bed and shower within the city heart. My package included 3 nights in the price of 2, so I tolerated the visiting roaches that came all the way from a gap in the toilets chamber to check out my pillow. The very friendly and shocked staff asked me to replace the room but for one more night, I thought I better stay in a place without 3 roaches rather than chasing new ones :-) The elevator went out of service in the 2nd day and it remained so for my entier stay. Nothing special to write home or tell my friends about, but Location.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : For those who like to stroll and walk rather than go by car and lose some touch with the spirit of Sydney - go out from Chaina-Town and continue on George street all the way up and down towards the Circular Quay, Opera House, Bay Bridge and Darling Harbour. Sydney Tower, the park and butanical gardens beneath are also near by and should not be missed, day time or during the night hours.

This hotel was so nice and clean and the staff extremely helpful.

Not the most interesting part of the city though it didn't take more than 5 minutes to get into center.

The standard of the hotel was really high compared to the costs. We were positively surprised how much we got for our money. We arrived early after a long flight but our room was ready and we could go relax with no waiting time. The staff knows the city really well and help with everything from transport advice to where the good restaurants were.

The hotel is near the central station, about 5 minutes walk. It's very conenient. And it is also very near the China Town. The room is clean. And I would like to stay there again next time.

A little noicy, but only a little.

Transportation is convenient, room is clean, price is reasonable. Room is not big, but what could you ask for??

Close to city center, value for money

Parking not available, room a bit old

We stayed in Aaron's Hotel in Sydney for a couple of days and we were quite satisfied, especially for the price we paid. There is nothing fancy about the hotel but it does the job. The staff is OK and the rooms are not bad, however little bit small and old. It's quite close to everything and in the middle of the chinatown. There is some parking available with another hotel nearby for around 20$ per day. In overall, I would stay there again!

Restaurant Tip : There is a very nice Korean restaurant nearby, at the corner of George st and Goulburn st (it's located on the second floor). try it out!

Location at corner of Haymarket and Chinatown areas was great. Close to Market.

The rooms were VERY basic. Fairly expensive internet

If you are twentysomething, on a budget, and just need a bed an a shower this is the place for you. Location is optimal for a budget hotel. Room and bath could be cleaner. Mystery stains on bedding. Basic cafe off lobby and the Market is an easy walk. Area around the hotel is a little run down but seems safe. The do have washers and dryers available in the hotel. You can actually walk most of the city from the hotel

Travel tip : Be sure to visit the Chinese Garden close to the convention center

Shopping Tip : Hay market straight across road

Good location and many good restaurants nearby.

Our hotel room was really small.

We first chose this hotel because of decent price and location. This is a good hotel for people that don´t want too much luxury or space. Hotel room was quite small and there was not enough places for luggage. We never tried breakfast, so nothing to say about that. Reception people were friendly in general. We wanted to leave out bags to the hotel for some hours after check out and usually in hotels it is free of charge. Here we had to pay for that, which was weird.

Great location Friendly staff Bar/Restaurant Internet/wi-fi

Noisy room on streetside

A nice place to stay, next to Chinatown and not far from Darling Harbour. Basic rooms, nothing fancy but definitely everything you need. A good spot to discover Sydney from. Very helpful staff. Restaurant and bar next to the hotel and many other places to eat and drink are closeby. I would stay again.

Excellent Location, Clean, tidy, Good service, staff friendly

Bit old, and need refurbishment

ALthough the hotel is bit small at the lobby, and we expected a small room. But the room is big enough for 4 persons, is clean and tidy. Yeah, it does look bit old but it is good value for the amount we paid for. As long as the hotel room is clean. Excellent location which is just opposite the paddy market. Staff is friendly. Food wise, I did not try, thats why i can't give any comment on it. We enjoyed our stay at Aarons Hotel sydney.

Shopping Tip : Paddy market opposite hotel. Excellent location to get cheap stuff and great souvenirs.
