Well connected location just outside the city
location surprisingly close to city and randwick also close to my friends place

My stay there was good the only issues are that the bed could have been more comfortable a little extra padding on the springs would have been appreciated.
If you use google maps to find the best routes buses go nearly everywhere including the city and Bondi Junction.
The hotel is not overly expensive for it's location. It is not an obviously good location until you think about it.

Comfortable and close to restaurants and transport
good size room, friendly staff, close to restaurants and transport to city or airport

Very good, the staff are all friendly. It is close to many good restaurants. Also close enough to the airport, football stadium (walking), Sydney University(walking) and bus stops to the city on a direct route and parking for no extra fee, so fair value compared to the city allowing for it not being central.

The knee jerk reaction to walk straight out stayed with me. Peeling laminate benches, half hanging off handles on the cupboards, broken sink and tap, had to hold the shower rose to have a shower, broken tiles in the shower, worn carpet, noisy drain cover in car park area, different coloured doona covers with gold curtains, rock solid beds and pillows that reduce to a pancake, out of date milk.... twice, soap dish so low and on a slant that the soap kept sliding off it which then made the base slippery, cockroaches, limited cutlery which didn't cover the amount of people staying in the room, derogatory comments on information pamphlets about the breakfast menu from previous guests, rude and sullen front desk person at night, filthy hand rails on the stairs. I know I have left things out........

Best hotel in this price and location for Sydney .
Great location and not that pricey when comparing other hotels in Eastern Suburbs of Sydney .

Hotel on bus links to city , close to many popular tourist spots , beaches.rooms quiet which is surprising given its proximity to the main transport link in the area.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Chinese restaurant in hotel has excellent food and good value.

Basic and large rooms, perfect for short stays

we spent a night there, the receptionist was not very accommodating but the room was nice, well-furnished, with a little balcony. buses to the city center are close and operate 24 hours. good value for the price, with a promotion it was cheaper than a youth hostel !
