Convenient location near Kings Cross and close to city. Variety of restaurants near by. Good sized rooms and pretty breakfast area. Accommodation included continental breakfast. Cooked breakfast not available. A quiet lounge room is also available for reading or connecting to internet using their computer. Tea & coffee in rooms. Limited secure parking is only suitable for small cars but very handy.

We booked on very short notice, a member of staff rang us (!) to confirm arrival time, no lift, but while we checked in another member of staff carried the really heavy luggage to our rooms. Helpful information on where to go, travel times, transfer to airport etc. with a smile as you would expect it 130 years ago

This hotel is in a great location, being walking distance from Kings Cross, Woolamoloo and a little further away but still within 20 minutes walking distance are the Botanical Gardens which lead to Sydney Opera House. The hotel is small with a colonial style, and has a very nice glass covered courtyard which is where breakfast is served. The rooms are small but comfortable and the service is friendly and prompt. There is wifi but it is charged on a time usage basis which worked out well as I purchased just one hour and was able to check e mails frequently over 2 days. Over all the hotel is excellent value for money and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney looking for reasonably priced accommodation.

Great hotel in a leafy street location.
Nice neighbourhood out of the CBD but only 10 min walk away. Excellent service and rooms

I had a great stay. It is a quiet little hotel which includes breakfast in the rate. My room was clean and comfortable and the neightbourhood was fantastic. Restaurants and nightlife that I never knew were there.
