Close to darling harbour and casino

i had specifically requested a bottle of wine and cheese platter be in my suite upon arrival; it wasn't. the room should have been more clean, and the construction was disturbing especially having young children with me. in the evening we were offered complimentary wine and cheese platter due to my request not being fulfilled earlier on during check in. the suite itself was spacious and nice, this was not the best service i've had staying here, i know their service is a lot better!

the room was clean and decent which was expected from a hotel in an integrated resort with casino. however, with the high price tag, it may not be worth the money to stay in this hotel. the internet access and car-parking were chargeable, though the carpark rates were provided at a discount. furthermore, there were few amenities with early closing hours for the health club. it may be preferable to look for similar hotels near darling harbour.

Amazing hotel and convenient

the astral tower and residences was very spacious. there was enough space for children to play, the view was beautiful. the staff were all very nice and friendly and it was also very convenient. there were restaurants located on the main floor, there was a mixture of chinese food, western food, cafes, buffets, dessert shops etc. the shops also opened till late. i would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families with children.
Restaurant Tip:
The chinese restaurant 'Din Tai Fung' is delicious, as well as Adriano Zumbo, selling desserts is delicious too!

We had a great experience. We got a free upgrade to a suite and the staff were so friendly.
The rooms were amazing looking and very clean.
The bars were throughout the casino were very busy and lots of fun.
Well worth the money spent.

rooms were beautiful with everything you needed, heater was fantastic as it was cold and bathroom was great, room was big and tv with all channels and just a lift ride into the casino! was perfect for everything. even got an early checkin at 11 for no extra charge
Shopping Tip:
up stairs of paddys markets was amazing with great cheap clothes!

Business trip to Sydney and the hotel was just next to the AU office. Fantastic location for me. The eateries are really good and of variety. Nice rooms but unfortunately got placed in a smoking room - not too bothered. Overall good stuff.

exciting BIG hotel & great location!

the 3 of us girls stayed here, was going to share beds as they only do 2 queen beds in a room. they free upgraded us to a 2 bedroom apartment with 3 beds & view of harbour it was great! less than 5 mins walk to darling harbours shops restaurants etc. our reason for staying here was to see a musical at the lyrics theatre loctaed in the complex. this hotel is massive has affordable food areas & fine dining, casino, classy shopping, carparking on site, fantastic!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
restaurants have competitive lunch specials along the water front! the madame tussaunds wax museum was great! lindt chocolate cafe. must eat at 'mamak'(15 goulburn st near china town) malaysian restaurant its well worth the line up to get in, watch them make rotti, good priced, fast service & extremely excellent traditional food & drinks..
