Not a hotel, it's a hostel, very old and dated, beds badly put together, squeaky to sit on, bathrooms not very nice, locks missing , ladies was down strairse meaning you had t go down dressed and dress again in bathroom. Staff were nice and helpful. Also it said breakfast was included but when we went to kitchen fridge was full of shopping bags and no breakfast !!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Very near bondi beach, seemed to be lots on bosses nearby and taxis were easy to get.

Surprisingly great for a backpackers hostel!
Good location close to beach & shops, didn't notice any noise, private bedroom, cosy feeling, clean.

Being two girls aged 20, we stayed here in the triple room, a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a single on the top. We were skeptical having never stayed in a backpackers before, but were pleasantly surprised. It was very cosy, quiet and comfortable. The hotel had a nice feeling to it. Location was great, bus stops right outside, Bondi beach walking distance away, shops on the same street. Would definitely stay here again.

It is a nice hotel near bondi beach. And it is near 380 and 381 bus stop can easily travel to CQ or bondi junction. But no big supermart or chinese resturant near here. Anyway you can cook in hotel but personally I do not like the bathroom at all.

Disgusting with Bed Bugs!!!

we stayed here for 3 nights and it was horrible! the room and the bed sheets were not clean and the fridge also had hairs in it. on the first night we noticed a number of bed bugs crawling over the bed and over the floor. we informed the hotel staff in the morning and they were apologetic and they sanatised the room. after this we didnt see any bed bugs on the bed however days after we left...we found the bed bugs in our backpacks and we had a number of bites! i never saw the toilets getting cleaned once, just the bins being emptied...the shower was disgusting! we felt itchy for days...do not recommend!!!!

This hostel currently has bed bugs, I have been bitten bad and so have many other residents. The wifi is also bad if you need it. Good location but hygiene is pretty bad.

I stayed during 28Dec11 through 2Jan12. This hotel was easy to find. Nearly the bearch area(not more than 300-400 meters.)
Just only one desktop computer provide for internet access :( If you don't want to wait many queues to use it, you should prepare own's laptops or handhelds to access via WiFi there.
The rooms seem not enough for guests or lack of management during major festivals.
Once I left from hotel early to visit the city and came back in the evening, my stuffs were move from the bed. It's look like the new comer put their belonging instead. Then I had to find other free bed inside that room. At that night, while I was sleeping on the new bed where I though it free, someone woke me up after midnight and said that it's not my bed. Go away!!
Shit!! Very trouble. >_<

if you need a basic accomodation close to bondi beach, don't look further. on the same building that the royal pub the hotel is very basic, but offers the use of a kitchen (with breakfast food), washing machines. there is a tv inside the tiny rooms, full of beds. the place is a bit run down and close to backpacker category. staff is helpful and it is located on a convenient location (walking distance from bondi beach).
