Lovely and basic hotel in a fantastic location
This hotel was no frills but it had everything we needed. We didn't come to swim in a pool or receive room service, so if you are looking for that look elsewhere. Our 1 bedroom family suite housed 2 Adults and 3 Tweens, with an additional bed provided. I loved that the hotel also ensured we had 5 cups, glasses and towels to accomodate extra person. Conveniently located on George St, opposite Campbell St and also backing onto Sussex St, we loved exploring the city. China Town for brekky was just outside the Sussex St door. Within very short distances additional to China Town there is also Paddys Market, Powerhouse Museum, Capitol Theatre, Entertsinment Centre, Darling Harbour and lots of choices for eating and other conveniences, like a $12 haircut. If you are happy to walk, you will be able to walk everywhere, there is an incline into the city. Otherwise there are buses, taxis, light rail close by for local area down there, you can walk to Central station easily as well as Museum and Town Hall stations (if you want a train to Circular Quay). The hotel and our rooms were clean and housekeeping provided. Our room had 2 bathrooms which was a great bonus for a family of 5. There were 3 lifts so not waiting for long. We were given a very early check in, which we appreciated and paid $20 for a late check out, which was awesome too. Another plus for us was that with our room facing inwards, yes it meant view of building but it also meant next to no street noise for a sound sleep on the comfy beds. All in all, I would recommend this for families who want to explore Sydney. Being on the outskirts of the inner city meant that we saw more than we planned. My family loves eating do bring so close to China Town and everything it offers was a definite plus for us.

Perfect
The staff at reception were lovely and very accomadating. We were able to drop off our luggage hours before check in which was great as we were on foot. Pleasant stay and will definitely be back!

Good choice
It's located next to chinatown and paddy's haymarket. Walkable distance to central or museum train station. Room comes with cutlery, microwave oven, electric stove, knives etc., all ready for cooking. Bathroom comes with bathtub and shower curtain. Room is large with tv area, equipped with coffee table and 2 seater sofa. Room is near road so sounds from bustling streets can be quite audible at night, a higher floor room should be better option if you are a light sleeper. Overall, it's a great experience and we certainly don't mind coming back to this hotel again.

3 nite stay
I stayed 3nights here overall is good. Location is near chinatown and central area...and staff are helpful. the only concern was the used cup didn't wash at all and do not replace toilet paper and make clean on floor vacuum. The receptionist was very helpful. no free wifi
