Very close to public transport, rail and bus stops. Excellent, willing and informative staff.
Tad bit loud in the morning, the bar below stocks their kegs in the morning creating quite a rumble
Excellent value for the money. Middle of the CBD, easy access to get to the buses to Bondi Beach or walk to the Cincular Quay for ferries. Hop off the Museum or St James stop to get to the location. Sports bar right next to the hotel. Staff is helpful and nice. Decent wireless internet price. There is a small cafe open for breakfast/coffee.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : 2 minute walk to Airtran stops from Airport

I could'nt find neither soap nor shampoo in the bathroom, only bath foam (but there is no bath, only shower). I got from the receptionist a solid piece of soap (kept under the reception counter), but during the four nights I spent in the hotel they never supplied shampoo.
The room was comfortable, but there are no drawers in the closet (or elsewhere in the room).
You should come with low expectations, despite the room rate

The Hotel is definitely a good option for budget accommodations. The location is the absolute best. If you want a super convenient location to all the Sydney tourist attractions in/around Downtown, this hotel is a great spot. The staff was very friendly and helpful in arranging activities around the city or just holding your luggage at the front desk. The rooms are spacious for Sydney standards and the bathroom is a good size as well. Rate might have been a little high, but I booked last minute so I thought it was pretty fair. If you are looking for a good sleeping spot and place to stash your belongings so you can go do all Sydney has to offer, Central Park hotel is a good option for you.
Shopping Tip : Plenty of shopping within blocks of the hotel...
