The hotel is located almost direct at the harbour with all the restaurants, close to the city and also relatively close to the airport.
Extras like Internet access should be included in such a high price.
I was my first stay at this hotel.
The hotel was recommended because itis located almost direct at the harbour (just on the other sider of the road). At the seafront you will find all the nice restaurants offfering very good seafood dishes. The hotel is also close to the city and also relatively close to the airport.
The room was okay and at a level what you can expect for the price they charge. It was quiet at night and the quality of the bed was good. No info about breakfast because I skipped it on both days.
Restaurant Tip : a lot of very nice & good seafood restaurant laocted at the harbourfront where you sit outside

Nice size room over looking the darling harbor and short walking distance to darling harbor where many nice restaurants and bars are.
The concierge was very helpful.
It's our honeymoon and we got a nice card, a bottle of champagne from Front office supervisor, how thoughtful and sweet was that!!!
After we checked in, the porter was very nice and gave us tips where to travel in the city. we basically followed his suggestion. The room is good size, and clean with a harbor view that over looking darling harbor. it's short distance to walk as well. we were pleasantly surprise how nice the harbor was. we spent both nights eating in the restaurants in harbor area - good food!
when we came back to the hotel, a very sweet card and bottle of champagne was waiting for us, that's very thoughtful and nice. we tried to call to thank the person - Amanda /Front office supervisor, but unfortunately she's not there.
The experience with crown plaza has been fantastic. it's the only hotel we booked in Australia actually acknowledged our honeymoon. Highly recommend the hotel to anyone who wants a nice hotel near the darling harbor!!
Restaurant Tip : in Darling Harbor, many nice restaurants and bars. Jorden has very nice seafood - i had tuna steak which was fantastic. "meat and wine" has good steak, but they asked us to wait for an hour, so we went to Angus which was really nice for steak.

The location of this hotel was outstanding - you could walk to Darling Harbour, to George Street and even walk to Sydney Harbour. Everyone was very helpful at the hotel and very pleasant.
I don't have much to say about Cons. We found it very delightful and would stay there again and recommend it to anyone going to Sydney.
The Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour Hotel was just what their website said it would be. We choose this hotel on our own and couldn't have been more pleased. After a 14 hour plane ride from USA, we had need of naps in the afternoon before and after exploring more of Sydney. We always asked for a wake-up call and were always woken up when we requested it. Also the business office was very helpful in helping us keep in touch with family in the States.
Thanks again for making our adventure to our 7th continent perfect.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Harborside shopping and restaurants. Everything was right at our fingertips.

excellent service & top location
We book in Harbour view room and it's beautiful at night through big window. The room is nice and
clean, the bed very comfortable. My daughter enjoy her stay, she wants to stay longer next time. The location was top it's right in front
darling harbour and takes 5 minutes walk to Chinatown with many different restuarants and we stay on Friday night so the market is on the
walkway of Dixon centre with hawkers store different type of food, stall with clothing, earings hat & lanterns . My family loves this
Hotel and we planning to come back next school
and stay longer next time.
Nightlife Tip : This hotel close to everything from shopping, dinning & sight seeing with all all the best things to see of Sydney.

Good valet service and front desk service
Great location - 1 minutes walk to harbour
Seperate bath and shower
We had an enjoyable stay at Crown Plaza. We found the service to be friendly and promt which was important to us. We had a harbour view room and were able easily to the city and harbour. The conidtion of the hotel was good, everything was clean and tody upon our arrival, house keeping was also good. We didn't get a chance to eat in-house as there are so many great restaurants nearby.

Perfect location, great for lone travellers.
breakfast in the hotel, $35 per person which is extremely high. The food however was fantastic...everything you could want and more!!
The hotel is nicely decorated in a modern style and the rooms were very pleasant: well lighted (big windows)with darling harbor view, comfortable beds, marble bathroom tile, air conditioning that worked and was quiet, etc. The restaurant was good.I was pleasantly surprised at having a very nice stay.

clean, comfortable, easy access to computers, staff helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. could not fault it at all.
No courtesy room. (our flight home was at 9 in the evening, and we had to vacate our room at 11am)
After a flight from cairns, and an earlier flight from Hamilton Island, we had been travelling since 6.30 am and very tired we eventually arrived at the hotel in the evening, with only enough energy to shower. We were met at the door when we got out of the taxi and our luggage brought to our room. Booking in at the reception was speedy and no fuss, the staff were pleasant and polite. And for an added plus the New Zealand Warriors were staying there, very nice eye candy!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The harbour bridge and the opera house were spectacular. Water taxi was very nice and the botanical gardens a delight.

Very convenient to Darling Harbour, main shopping area and China Town.
Near renovation, especially the table in the room, plenty of stain.
It is conveniently located by Darling Harbour. The room is quite spacious and it is close to China Town and George street, the main shopping area. However, the interior of the room require major upgrading. The bed was too soft and the main dressing table has stain all around its edge. This is definitely something I do not expect from the hotel of international chain.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Just cross the overhead bridge, you can reach Darling harbour.

Good location, great views, modern rooms.
This hotel was great as it was close to everything and had lovely views. The rooms were very clean and spacious but the shower was not so good. Did not affect our stay though. The staff were lovely and check in was very quick. I would recommend staying in this hotel.

Good location, clean quiet and comfortable rooms, good staff attitude.
There are days I do not know why there is no finishing room.
Value for money for a hotel. There are two large bed rooms, four-star hotels in Sydney are relatively rare. Travel is very convenient, sea view rooms are also a good landscape. Overall impression very good, next will come back to live.

Strategic location, clean spacious rooms, friendly staff attitude.
A very good hotel! Whether business or leisure travel is very appropriate. About ten minutes walk to Chinatown, to the city center is very convenient around. Next time will choose to live in this hotel.
