The hotel is a charming art deco building. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and welcoming. It is located close to the stores and restaurants downtown and you can get transportation anywhere from George St or Wynard station.
Restaurant Tip:
Walk a few blocks to the Westfield complex where there are many good restaurants.

a great building to stay in, recently refurbished to good standards, with comfortable rooms. a very old fashioned feel to the lobby and lifts! hidden corridors and a wide open feeling that makes this hotel a great place to stay.
very very expensive internet charges however, so add per day to your stay.
the gym is satisfactory. the view more than makes up for the shortage of cardiovascular machines.
this hotel is suitable for both business and pleasure stays.
Restaurant Tip:
Walk towards Chinatown and you will be presented with countless places to eat.

very clean hotel rooms with good service overall. Room service is good and food is also good. Lot of beautiful character in the architecture of this building with stained glass windows etc. I would stay again

loved our room. bed was comfy and nice lcd flat screen tv. bathroom was spacious and overall the room was very tidy.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The Grace is in the middle of it all. You will never have to walk more than 10-15 minutes for a variety of entertainment options.
