Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was overbooked and only room I could get was in a room where the key card didn't work. Staff compensated me by providing voucher to local restaurant. Overall I was satisfied

Perfect location to public transport, Paddy's Markets and Chinatown!

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is close to a tram station that could take you to Central Station where access to all of Sydney is virtually possible. It is right next to Chinatown to find good cheap eats. Being just a 3 minute walk to the Paddy's Markets is also great for finding personal souvenirs and for the people back home. Being a walk away from Darling Harbour also has benefits for those that love to hangout in bars and nightclubs.
Hotel is clean and the breakfast service has a decent variety. Will definitely recommend to visitors to Sydney.
Shopping Tip:
Sydney and Australian souvenirs should be bought only from the Paddy's Markets! Wonderful prices and selection. Be aware that the market is closed on Mondays and Wednesdays.

A lovely few days
The area it was in, and also it was very comfortable

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn 4 times now, and have never been disappointed, this time we brought friends with us and they were delighted with the area and hotel too. It so near everything and yet we still have no trouble having a quiet night there. Thankyou Holiday Inn for another lovely stay.
