Furnishings a bit dated

The hotel is close to the many restaurants in King Cross and to some of the more up-market ones in Cowper Street. So that's a plus for eating out. The hotel is also very close to King Cross station for travelling to other tourist areas. If you have a car, the hotel is very close and easily accessible to the airport via the motorway. However the hotel is a bit dated: its furnishings need to be updated. For around the same price, there are now newer hotels with better beds and more modern bathrooms. However it is clean and that's important.

Excellent location. 10 min to Circular Quay by bus. Train station under hotel.

Excellent location and stay while in Sydney. Centrally located hotel within lots of eating places nearby. Coles supermarket across the street. Bus stop 1 block away about a 5 min walk. Access to Kings Cross train station is in front of hotel. Room had a good view of Sydney harbor and bridge. Room was clean and spacious enough and service was good. Had refrigerator in room. Bathroom was spacious and nicely apportioned. Value was exceptional! Highly recommend - would stay here again.

Nightlife Tip : Lively nightlife nearby - all within walking distance.

Location with respect to rapid transit system was awesome. The subway train was only about 20 meters from the front door of the hotel. Also, the view of the bay from our room (we got the Queen Harbor View room) on the sixth floor was wonderful.

Breakfast was not included in the room price and we never ate there because of the high prices. Internet was ok, but again was not complimentary. The cost for internet was up to $27.50 per day.

The hotel staff was very polite, responsive and knowledgeable. There were no King Size beds available, but the Queen Size was comfortable and sufficient. I would definitely stay there again for the price I paid, for the Queen Harbor view. The location was very convenient for travel to the downtown Sydney area and to Circular Quay, where the ferries depart.
