Great location and very affable staff

Great value for money and located right across Sydney's red light district. The hotel is just 10 steps away from the Kings Cross metro station which makes it very easy to get to the other attractions in the city such as the Sydney Harbor Bridge, Darling Harbor or Circular Quay. You walk to the Royal Botanic Gardens as well which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
I stayed in Perth and the Gold Coast before coming to Sydney and I must admit that e the staff here were the warmest and the most helpful when it came to showing you the way around the city. Finally it was great vale for money.

pros: well-located - right next to the kings cross station and smack where the throbbing night life is. clean and spacious.
cons: characterless as expected. front desk staff need to cheer up and be more helpful.

Although this hotel is smack bang in the Kings Cross precint, its actually easy to avoid the sleaze of the infamous strip as it is not on the main road and in fact the side train staion entrance feels like a private entrance to the hotel as it is literally next door. The cafes and restaurants and clubs are a hop and a skip away.

absolutely convenient to cbd and public transport easy to get to from the airport!

Friendly however a little low in ambience ... A few paintings in e corridors would make it a little more inviting.
Airconditonere could be a little quieter .

Take train from the airport and change at Town Hall station for the eastern suburbs line get off at Kings Cross station, take the lift up to the ticket barrier and as you go through the ticket barrier you will notice another lift to your left, take this up to the street and you will see you are directly in front of the hotel.

great location, right next to the kings cross train station.

well... its a nice hotel. currently under renovation so there is only one elevator working.
the location is pretty good - just outside Kings Cross train station. to get to city center you have to switch trains at the Town Hall station which takes only 5 minutes to get to.
overall i enjoyed.
