The Hughenden Boutique Hotel is one of Sydney’s gracefully restored heritage buildings. Built in 1872 by Dr Fredrick Harrison Quaife as a family home, it was later converted to a hotel and then lovingly restored to it’s former glory in 1992. All 32 rooms are decorated in Victorian grandeur, with arts and literature being the focal point of this boutique hotel. Situated in Sydney’s historical district between Woollahra and Paddington, The Hughenden is one of the many beautifully restored Victorian homes, more recently converted to art galleries, restaurants, bars and cafes in this vibrant and unique part of Sydney.
