the worst hotel I stayed at during my trip
close to both the international and domestic airports

I stayed at 6 hotels during my 2 week trip to China and this is the worst I was treated the entire trip.. very young staff who think way too much of them selves with an extremely rude manner
The dining room staff were great and the meals were terrific.... but the reception staff were rude
and arrogant
This was also the most expensive hotel by far that I stayed in and had the smallest rooms
I will not be staying there again unless I am absolutely desperate...

It is well located to the central of the Sydney, it is not far away from the Museum Station and Town hall. It is well worth the money.

enjoyed the stay. in regards to the hotel stay they were most accommodating given it was last minute due to flights being cancelled. staff were most accommodating, helpful and professional. staff assisted with travel arrangements and directions. room was well kept and tv was easy to operate which was a bonus as we needed to watch an important game of afl!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Had a wonderful time in Circular Quay, eating, drinking and dancing at a wonderful spanish bar.

Rooms were clean and it was a nice easy process to check in.
Good, cheap shuttle service to the international airport every half hour.
Good noise insulation from the planes, but a little noisy if other guest were loud in the hallways. Needs better noise reduction on the doors into the rooms.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Easy walk to the domestic terminal.only about 5 minutes.

We were very disappointed with the hot food at breakfast. Breakfast starts at 5.30. We went down at 8.00 and the hot food was only luke warm.
Travel tip:
Go elsewhere for breakfast. Go out of hotel, turn right,through one set of lights, cafe about 3mins walk down the road.

Facilities are clean. But the room is very small, that is why the cupboard size is small and also the wash room. It is good for short stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The train station is less than 15 mins walk away. Nothing to see on the way to the train station, but once you got to the station, you are link to everywhere.

all was well accept the air-conditioning did not work room was hot and stuffy all night, also had a room on the front of building and the curtain coverings/blinds did not work well or block out street lights and neon signs that blaired all night.
also when about to leave exit boom gate did not open and made many late for flights as it took close to 20 min and 4 trips to servidce desk to get open. breakfast was quite nice buffet
Hotel Feature Tip:
rooms are small when you have children and cots etc if it is only one night it is ok but long term far too small. great place to stay if you have an early flight out of sydney!

My husband and I stayed at the Ibis Sydney for a night before we flight back to Thailand. We had to go to Town to update my Visa and the new detail of passport. We had no idea how to get the immigration but the reception was very helpful, she gave us an advise with the little map. Also the the hotel is close to town and public transport that made it lot easier.
