Very close to the Opera House, The Rocks and train station

Housekeeping was weak

After a disaster beginning - we were offered an upgrade and a free drink due to a weak housekeeping - the rest of the week went on without any problems. The Hotel is located very near the Opera House as well the Botanic Garden as well as the fabulous The Rocks. You must visit the week-end market at The Rocks - great handicrafts.

Modern rooms Great location in city centre

You have to pay for internet access

A great upmarket city centre hotel. Rooms are modern and decent sized. Hotel facilities are 5* standard including a very well equipped gym. It is just a 5 minute walk away from Circular Quay or up to George St and the shops. Only negative is that you have to pay for internet access in your room.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If arriving at the airport, get a taxi to thiss hotel as it's cheaper and much less hassle than the train.

Nice hotel very close to Sydney Opera House Guest Rating: 7.3

Location within a short stroll to Sydney opera house.

Expensive for the standard of the room.

Great hotel for location. Room was largish with very comfotable bed and excellent linen but bathroom was not overly modern. Bathroom had oldish fittings and shower curtain with shower over the bath. The hotel were accommodating with an early 7am check in from an international flight which was much appreciated.

Travel tip : Great location near to the Opera House

- central location (opposite botanical gardens, 300 meter from circular quay) - easy access from highway and valet service - stylish rooms with comfortable beds - swimming pool on top floor with magnificent view over the harbor, Opera house and harbor bridge

- nothing, it was all good!

We booked this hotel because of its central location, since we were traveling with two elderly people with walking difficulties. The hotel is opposite the Botanical Gardens and just 300 meters from Circular quay where the ferry's depart. The hotel was very stylish with a cosy bar on the ground level, rooms with beautifull bathroom (coming with slippers and bathrobes) and the service (valet service, reception, housekeeping)was just perfect. We didn't pay extra for bayview, but the city-view was really nice as well, try to get a room on a higher floor for a better view. We were on the 12th floor and the view was nice. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as we thought it was quite expensive (AUD 50 for a buffet), but there were lot's of nice breakfast and dinner places close to the Harbour. If you like swimming with a view, try the pool at the top floor! p.s.: we did't eat at the hotel.

Hotel Feature Tip : try to get a room on a higher level for a better view! Also, in contrast to some tourist restaurants with unfriendly staff, we absolutely enjoyed a breakfast at The Belgian Chocolate Cafe at Circular Quay, friendly staff and reasonable priced breakfasts.

In overall, I had a good time there for the strategic location and the view, the hotel itself doesn't impress me much.

Close to the Opera House is also the symbol of Sydney, is the window in the room was a great view of the harbor and the beautiful park. Within walking distance of shopping, mall, restaurant and tourism is the best location.

And that the high fixed shower, I still have not been difficult to use a separate bath and shower.

As previously renovated hotel in the historical building was mint, had a beautiful flavor to the classic and modern harmony. The room is on the whole idea is that凝RASA lighting and furniture寛GERU ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆. The location is convenient to say no. The bellboy was a smart answer.

Nightlife Tip : During the day the opera house and the roof of the symbol is white on the night was lit up in beautiful colors. Area is beautiful and romantic it boasts a dark night.
