staff very, very helpful. smart style hotel. Hallway with dual mirrors on opposing sides gives great effect. Good value for money. Rooms smart. Nice bed covers & comfortable bed.
Several days we noticed (weekends) that cleanup crew left lights & air con on when we came back to hotel -- wasting energy/money. not wild about square/flat sink. Rooms had no electric outlet next to one side of bed -- so even though we requested reading light, we couldn't plug it in there. Need stronger permanent reading light that can be moved around to desired location. once our cleanup crew replaced all towels though they hadn't been put on floor. Wasted $. A clock/radio in room would be nice too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Sydney's one-price bus/subway/train/ferry pass is wonderful

Really friendly and helpful staff, great location in trendy Darlinghurst and funky hotel. Good value for money.
The hotel had no lift and so you had to carry heavy bags up the stairs, but the nice receptionist carried one of our bags for us - very strong girl! Also we had a standard room which was a little small for all our luggage and only had a shower, no bath.
The hotel is in a great location in the trendy and happening area of Darlinghurst and is conveniently located for good places to eat, and unusual shops. The staff were really welcoming and friendly and helped us up the stairs with our luggage (no lift!). Room was quite funky but a little small (with 2 weeks worth of luggage) but was perfectly adequate and with the exception of a bath, provided for all our needs and provided a good quality, value for money option for a short stay in Sydney.
Restaurant Tip : Bill Grainger's restaurant is onl 5 minutes walk away from the hotel and has great food.
