Magnificent city views, quiet trendy neighborhood, good selectin restaruants, close to public transport station, local weekend open air market, this is a great place to use as a base from which to see Sydney.

None

The hotel provides comfortable accomodations with usable kitchenettes. There are laundry facilities on each floor and small library of books downstairs in their business center. There is a supermarket directly accross the street from the hotel that includes enough prepared dishes to make eating in a fairly simple matter. The number of very decent restaurants within five minutes of the hotel includes Indian, Thai, Italian, and modern Australian - the takeouts are too numerous to list. The hotel staff is friendly and always willing to go that extra bit to help their guests out with unexpected needs. This was our second time at the hotel which probably says more as a recommendation that anything else.

Restaurant Tip : Challis Street, a hundred meters from the hotel, but hidden from direct view from the hotel, has half a dozen very trendy and innovative restaurants that are well worth trying.

A comfortable, reasonably priced hotel, well situated for proximity to public transportation, a variety of restaurants and good takeout that you can re-heat and serve in your room. The reception and service staff are helpful and efficient. The availability of laundry rooms on each floor and in-room internet service were very much appreciated. Ask for a room on the one of the top floors facing the harbor and you will have an unbeatable view of the opera house, bridge and general city skyline.

Nothing of any significance.

On our travels our interests are more with the people and the way they live than with monuments and night life. We found magnificent city gardens all around and were really pleased to be within walking distance of many varied residential areas. These residential areas included Paddington with street after street of late nineteenth century houses, Elizabeth Bay a historic now, quite modern section but still with a few historic structures and a good number of very modern tall residences built between King,s Cross and the area along the water on the way to the Botanic Gardens.

Shopping Tip : If trendy apparel, fashion, and small stylish restaurants are part of your itinerary than Oxford Street in Paddington will make for an enjoyable morning or afternoon.

Very much liked the location, within walking distance to food supermarket [Woolworths],Pub's and affordable restaurents,Liquor store and Train station. The #311 Bus stops right in front and takes you to Circular Quay. The kitchenette is well equipped for breakfasrs and light meals...which we did.

The outdoor patio/barbeque was not very appealing and the pool is really just a large tub.

Overall we would certainly stay here again, staff were more than helpful, room nice and very clean and the harbour view rooms enjoyable

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Stongly recommend purchase of the weekly Travellers Pass which gives you unlimited usage on buses, trains, and ferries...very handy and cost saving.

We liked the location of the hotel in Potts Point, as there are a lot of nice deli's. From the hotel it is a 25 minute walk, partly through the botanical gardens, to Circular Quay. Also good public transport to tourist areas.

Rooms are small, but that's also why the place is so affordable! The website says there is a swimming pool, it is very small though.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Very friendly concierge. The room we had was a bit old and small, but the price -quality ratio was ok. The view was perfect, so try to get a room as high as possible. We just got good food from the deli's and ate it in our room with a perfect view on operah house and Harbour bridge. Nice mix of tourists in the area, including backpackers, but there are also more expensive hotels. I would stay there again.
