Single woman given poor room
I've stayed at the Mantra many times and always been happy with the room but this was the first time I booked through Agoda and I got a terrible room. It was on the first floor above a laneway bakery that plays loud music from 5am and moves their outdoor furniture outside at 5am too. The laneway was full of noise until midnight too. It was a disabled room, with a very low basin and no bench space in the bathroom. The one bedside light was on the wrong side of the bed???

A little disappointed
Location, staff, clean
The stay was just ok. The first thing that annoyed me was there were no signs outside the lifts or inside advising what level things were located. The pool was very difficult to find, no signs anywere in the hotel until you got to the correct floor, and that floor was only found aftervI had gone to 4 floors prior looking for it. As I have a back disability i was really looking forward to the spa only to find it was closed with no water in it and no explanation to customer, very disappointed as the spa was needed to lessen my pain during travel. The breakfast was of very poor standard, very little choices. We were also charged for a coffee, if you pay for buffee at other hotels generally coffee is supplied. Such a shame as I have worked with the Mantra in catering and functions in Mooloolaba and there standard was much higher. Shower was also a little grotty.

Location was good. Shower head dripped but replaced the next day. Room was bigger than a motel.

We was a group of five family members and stayed in 2 bedrooms apartment. With Mantra we have to suffer with very inconvenience as there was only bathroom for five adults. Moreover the most of facilities were much different with pictures showing in their website, and less information for tourists. I would not recommend Mantra for friends and I will never stay at Mantra again.
