Location is excellent! Right across the road from the Central Rail station. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Housekeeping during our stay was not always up to a high standard. We really enjoyed our stay at the Marque Hotel, . I rang to confirm on the day and requested a high floor room on the back of the hotel, which was perfect. We slept well and the room was comfortable and well appointed.
We will definately stay there again.

The reason i booked this hotel because the deal was good and i didn't have much choice sine i left it very late. The main objective is to be near exhibition center and this one was the closest (and wiht rooms available). The distance is about 1.5 km and when the weather was beautiful, it was an enjoyable 20 mins walk.
The room and amenities are ok. It is also clean. I spent 3 night and still cannot figured out how to operate the television. There are many convenient stores near the hotel so i am able to grab hold of things easily. I was very much let down when i asked the staff to borrow one of the adapter for electric socket, he simply relied; we have run out and please go get one from near by 7/11.
The hotel is close to China town so there are plenty of chinese restaurant to choose from. Also it's near to the Darling Harbour so plenty of restaurant to chooose really.
The downside i experieced was since the hotel is right on the corner of a main road in Sydney and opposite a major train station and since my stay span across friday and saturday night, there are many of loud cars and noisy people travelling back and forth from clubbing areas. Basically, it's hard to go to sleep.

clean , nice, good place, good price Parking is very expensive 35$ a day, no wireless internet I stayed 2 night in a premier room with king bed . it is a nice hotel and the room was clean. new furniture. i did not use other facilities like restaurant. i used the parking because it is hard to park on the street. hoever, i thing there parking cost is too much.
so in general it is good and i recommended.
Restaurant Tip : close by Halal resturant offer nice meals

The recent refurbishments give the feel of a top class hotel. It felt luxurious. It is very convenient to public transport - just across the road from Central Railway and there's a bus stop right outside the hotel Nothing - we were very satisfied with everything. The entrance is clean and modern with plenty of light. The desk staff are friendly and patient. The lifts are very efficient - no having to wait for several minutes whilst lifts swish up and down. The recent refurbishments give the impression of staying in a brand new hotel. It is very convenient to public transport - just across the road from Central Railway and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Very convenient to public transport and hotel is situated in well known, safe part of the city

Location, location, location Coffee shop did not open early enough before we had to leave for the airport Very easy to book online for this hotel. It contained all of trhe information necessary to figure out whether this was the right place to stay. We were looking a place within walking distance of the Central Train Station where we came from the airport for an overnight before heading to NZ. The remodel of the hotel inside was outstanding and the outside was deceiving and should be ignored.
Shopping Tip : You have to visit Paddy's Market Thursday through Sunday and holidays

Really nice room

Helpful staff The balcony is shared between all the other out-facing rooms on the floor, and ours was just concrete, really. Stayed here for a night while seeing a concert in Sydney. The room was really nice - a massive soft bed, all new decor, rainwater shower head. Staff were friendly and helpful too - gave me directions, easy check-in/out. Didn't make use of any of the facilities or restaurant, but the foyer, the room and the staff were certainly comparable to, or better than, those at 4 star hotels at which I have stayed previously. Good location - near central station - was a good base from which to go to the concert at Horden Pavilion and then to go into the city the next day. Pick a non-balcony room, I'd say - the balcony is shared between all the other out-facing rooms on the floor, and ours was just concrete, really.

The places, near from Airport, only $30-40 by taxi.
If you from Airport, better u go there by Taxi, more cheaper than train n bus...More comfortable also...many PilloW n Blanket...white n Clean. the most important is Clean Ehm...only the water Haeater for me to boiled water, the JuG i think is not clean already. noT health to me to boiled water there. because the Steel Spoiled already...must be Stainles Steel or Plastic THE Marque Hotel, i like the price from Agoda, i like the way Agoda's confirm before the date we stay. n for the Hotel, i liked because the Hotel is very very clean....with the good price. This Hotel can be Family Hotel i think, they can provide Day Tour if you want it. i already check 5-10 agent Hotel. But the Cheapest price is Agoda. So, don't waist your time again, Choose AGODA for your Best Hotel Agent , n for AGODA, TOP....
Restaurant Tip : This hotel really near to China Town ,n Paddy Market.
there we can see many Restaurant... with good price. by walk only 5-7 minutes. by run ONLY 3 MMINUTES, hahaha

Central to all public transport. Chinatown, Paddys Market, great pubs and cheap restaurants all within an easy stroll.
Staff all friendly and very professional. I stayed more than 1 day, and each day my room wasn't cleaned until very late in the afternoon. It would have been nicer if they were cleaned before luunchtime. The rooms are all modern, with very comfortable beds and crispy clean linen. The rainfall shower is fantastic. A well stocked mini bar and an ample supply of coffee and tea making facilities. With a good size wall mounted plasma tv, it made laying in bed and relaxing a perfect way to start the day. Overall, a well located hotel with up to the minute modern fitout.
Shopping Tip : Visit Paddys Market for great value shopping and finish with a leisurely walk to Darling Harbour.

location, comfort, staff, facilities, It was a clean, tidy homely place with wonderful service from staff who couldn't do enough to make you stay an enjoyable one, the hotel was located in a wonderful central location close to everything walking distance to darling harbour and only a stone throw from central station. only down side was the front counter was a little under staffed, but when finaaly served staff were very helpful
Over was very happy to have stayed at the Marque Hotel

Quite modern with good facilities and service A bit noisy in spite of double windows On the whole, Marque is good due to its central location, good quality facilities and service being offered. I would like to recommend it to all my friends and relatives if they travel to Sydney
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Since Marque is locted near to thr Central Station, it's easy to take the train to anywhere in or out of Sydney to other suburbs or tourist spots like Paramatta, Blacktown, Chatswood, etc.

Great location, clean and spacious room No toothpaste and slippers Conveniently located at the junction to various major attractions, e.g. Bondi Beach, City Quay & circular Quay.
I wonder why the hotel did not issue a receipt even you request after settling your account. The staff explained that it was for the sake of confidentiality, which i don't think that is a plausible reason at all.

Location, size of room, price, king size bed lack of character, lack of staff, no 'extras' The Marque Hotel was a great spot to stay while in Sydney for a few nights. The price was right as long as you are not expecting any 'extras' like breakfast or personal service. The staff was ok but limited so if there was a line-up at the front desk, waiting was inevitable. When we arrived and I requested a baby cot, they said there would be a $35 fee/night for the cot - ridiculous! The hotel was clean but there was very little character in way of the hotel or rooms. I did the think that the size of the room was quite good though. The hotel location was good especially if you want to use the transit system with Central Station next door and all train lines going through this stop. We could easily walk to Darling Harbour, Paddy's Market, The Rocks and the Sydney Harbour.
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel offers wireless internet for a fee but you can go around the corner to an internet cafe and get online for $2/hour
