Great location, nice rooms, friendly service

Hotel is very clean and room was perfect size, hotel has a some nice facilities, great swimming pool, food was good and at the right price, staff were very helpful and friendly. there is a lovely bar and outside smoking area. just a short walk to darling harbour and china town , would certainly stay here again.
Restaurant Tip:
some great chinese restaurants and bars close by,

It was just a short stay. But, we felt at home because of the very helpful and friendly hotel staff. The location of the hotel was also good. Near to Central Station (Train) and very efficient transportation (Bus) just around the corner. There's a Malaysian (halal) restaurant nearby - Cafe Kasturi. It was a pleasant stay. Thank you.

Although the hotel is not located at the central of the Sydney CBD like Town Hall, this hotel is still considered as good as it is near to the Central train station where I can take train and tram during my trip. It takes about 5-8 mins walk to the station.
The hotel is not considered as new and it is clean enough for me.
Unfortunately, this hotel does not offer free wifi, not even in the hotel lobby. As an Internet-savvy, this is a pain throughout my stay in Mercure Sydney.

lovely stay and value for money. front office staffs were efficient in check in and check out process. hotel is adjacent to chinatown, paddy market and darling harbour. the rock is within reachable if you willing to walk. it takes about 20 minutes or slightly more from the hotel. catch up sunday market at the rock or even sydney opera house at the rock.
pretty disappointed every few days i must remind the housekeeping staff to change my bed sheet and pillow case. if not the housekeeping staff will just make up my bed for me. well...i stay for 8 days!!!

Lovely hotel with excellent location

This hotel is excellently located. It is minutes away from the city center. China town and the major attractions are close by too. It sits right on top of the Central station so transport is no issue. You are virtually connected as the station is a major inter change. The staff were very helpful. They are always willing to assist us with our queries.

Great location and very tidy.
It was very tidy, very appealing to the eyes, very helpful and nice staff, lots of parking.

Only stayed over nigt but was very happy with the room, the cleanliness of the room and hotel itself, the staff were very nice and helpful. Room price was very reasonable, dinner and breakfast prices were abit higher then expected but still reasonable.

The hotel room was comfy and had a soft comfortable bed for a good rest after a day of activities… Room have all the needs we required.
The location is awesome as it’s near all the shopping are whereby u can choose spend your whole walking along the shopping area. Overall, considering the price it’s worthwhile..

We traveled in a group of 10.
Some delays upon check-in, as counter cannot find our booking. After waited for 30 minutes, we got our rooms without further query and got our room upgraded.
The hotel is close to all amenities. a public bus stand right at the main entrance. Restaurants opposite the hotel. It is very close to China Town where you can find good deals for food and day trips from local travel agents.
The hotel is 10 mins walk to central train station and also free shuttle 555.
Overall we enjoyed the stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take free shuttle 555 to Circular Quay where the Opera House and Harbour Bridge located. The bus stop is only less than 10 mins away from hotel.
