cleaners clean the room in the avo around 3 loved the stay hotel was beautiful rooms wernt a box heps of light air conditioned room Thankfully! pool is beautiful at night an gym is good for burning of the junk food an the location is perfect, so close to everything all the fast food chains across the road, under ground train station 2mins from the hotel, bus stop right out side paddys market an market CITY!!!!! 5min walk!!! chines friendship gardens 5min walk beautiful an no noise at night from our room sleep all night, would stay again!!!

I find the hotel will be the convinient one in sydney because of the location , give guest easy to access to shopping , eating dan transportation to all sydney and shuttle bus to airport ( even need to have new vehicle ) , so its make me feel having wonderfull stay at sydney

Large rooms and tv, very clean free cofee and tea.Very convenient location near Central Station and Paddys Market for shopping. No breakfast included in the price. Great value for this hotel, large room with a large size TV.Tub and shower was an asset.Daily bed sheets changed and good cleaning by mates.Convenient location in terms of train station, only 5 minutes walking distance. Bus service just beside the hotel.

The location is very good, very close to Central station, city and china town. You can catch a train from airport station to central station and walk about 5-10 mins to the hotel.

Excellent location; lovely little swimming pool. Only stayed one night so it was hard to judge, but the staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size. Charging for wi-fi when it doesn't cost much for it to be free. It was the perfect hotel for a short stay. Perfectly located with lovely rooms and very friendly and helpful staff.
Hotel Feature Tip : Nice little pool and gym on the roof/top floor.

Located in very convenience area Hotel is located in very convenience area, which suitable for both business trip and travel purpose. This is very close to central station and only a short walk to shopping area. As well as only a few minutes travel to the sightseeing points. Hotels' staffs are very nice and helpful in introducing the trips and importance sightseeing points.

Conveniently located close to the Central Rail Station, Tram Station and CityRail Station. Airport shuttle is available. May also take the AirportLink train to Airport (within 15 min). Everything is good except that the taps in the bathroom are loose and water keeps dripping. Nice staff at the Reception and Lobby. We received warm welcome and a lovely complimentary cup cake on arrival. Other staff were also very effective in sorting out our requests. Great value to stay. Convenient to getting around in the city (by cityrail, tram, bus) as well as go to other cities (by train, coach). Room price may be higher in weekends.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Just a few minutes' walk to Chinatown, Paddy's Market (which opens Thursday through Sunday), and the World Square shopping centre.

The Resturant food was excellent, much better than expected, top class. Near Station where I was leaving from next day. Martini rather expensive I found most things satisfactory considering the price range of Hotels. The Cocktail bar needed a few cosier settings, and I didnt like the Martini glasses, no nuts!!! Had to book over the internet to find a place near the Central Station so I could leave early next day for the Heritage train to Bowral. It was comfortable and very convenient, and I was able to walk down to the City Centre, and return on the bus, The Buses were very frequent and each bus seemed to go past the Hotel, I only had to walk from the Hotel to the Station.
Restaurant Tip : I found the food, both for dinner and breakfast excellent.

room facilities were as expected, clean, and well equiped.
reception, very good, pleasant area.
staff very helpful, and nice to deal with. the small eating cafe called Thai , too small, not enough sedating for dinners, so didnt eat there.
. your sposition located so close to central staion, was one of our major reasons for choosing you. also to other transport was good.
On arrival, we were met with a very cheerful Reception staff, and equally nice porter , who was helpful.
Not able to work the coffee machine, housekeeping sent a lovely young woman, to show us how to use it, nothing was too much trouble, we found.
It was a pleasant are, in the Foyer, to meet u p with our friends.
breakfast, whist very good, we thought there should be less charge for continental, very little difference between the full and that.
It was being such a large Hotel, quite hectic we thought in this area, but staff were alwasy on hand and fast service.
We would have like a better dinner menue, that was a disappointment, and the food not that good..
As we are horse racing prople, we did expect to be able to watch horse racing on our T.V. that chanel was not available, and I would urge you, to re consider this, as a lot of NZ'ers who come over are racing prople, like ourselves.
Over all, we fouldddddddd your hotel, a pleasant stay, effeciant staff, clean, and well run./

Fantastic weekend getaway deal, good location - very central We took advantage of Agoda's special offer to stay at the Mercure for 1/2 price, and we were thrilled - the staff were lovely and very welcoming, the rooms were well presented and spacious. The service from everyone was a true delight. The hotel was a longer walk than expected from the Opera House, but still within easy reach, as were Downtown and Cockle Bay. I would recommend the Mercure again without hesitation for anyone wanting a relaxing stay with a practical approach.
Hotel Feature Tip : The pool and gym area is fantastically setup and very easy to access.

interior decor , room size sydney mercure has a good central location in the heart of the george street, pretty close to darling harbor via a 10min walk. the rooms are fairly small , interior decor is minimalistic. the hotel seems to be always well booked in line with its popularity with tourists
