this is the perfect location for tose of you travelling to sydney to see a show at he capitol theatre, which is right across the road! an easy stroll from central station/airport train. loads of restaurants nearby.
the apartment tis very large, with a huge amount of space for luggage and clothing storage. plenty of mirrors, a laundry, kitchen/ dining and more. the bed is very comfy.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Not a great hotel for views, as far as I could tell from my 8th floor room anyway. But plenty to see and do when you walk out the door. Perfect for a theatre trip.

we stayed at the meriton apartments for 4 days for our 40th wedding anniversary. it was excellent from checkin to check out. the apartments were very clean and quiet and central to everything.
Travel tip:
Seniors pass travel all day on bus ferry and train including light rail for $2.50

Booked Studio apartment for 2 nights. Room was excellent, with washer and dryer in apartment. Chinatown and Hay's market is just 2 streets away for cheap food, fruits and macadamia nuts. Easy access to all public transportation, definitely will stay here again in my next visit.

Summer in the City- Meriton Serviced Apartments

We stayed for 2 days in a cube apartment, a large and comfortable studio with one king-size bed able to be screened off by frosted glass screens. The apartment was on level 8, looking out to Campbell Street; noise was not an issue. The apartment had a comfortable lounge, a large dining table, a work desk, a well-equipped kitchenette with cook top, fridge/freezer, microwave oven and a good range of pots and utensils, and, by the entrance, an alcove with washing machine and dryer. All furnishings were new and in top condition. Reception staff were most efficient and friendly. The Campbell Street/Haymarket area is some distance from the main tourist areas of Sydney, but it is well-placed for transport.

I have stayed at several Meriton apartments and every one has been brilliant. The Campbell St apartments are in a great location, they were very clean and tidy and the staff were lovely. I would definately recommend these apartments to anyone visiting Sydney.
Travel tip:
The Campbell Street apartments are close to China Town and Darling Harbour area. If you want to be slightly closer (10min walk) to the shopping areas and Circular Quay then go for the Pitt Street apartments. I have stayed in both and would recommend either one to anyone.
