Location, price, warm hotel feel, great service and helpful with directions, comfy beds and pillows that aren't all too high and firm! I stayed in this hotel as it was the cheapest available hotel within walking distance (2 blocks) of Pitt St Mall. It is also about a 15 min walk to Circular Quay. It is surrounded by food and shopping outlets. I didn’t notice any noise from the street or neighbours. My room was very clean and bathroom spacious. Very comfortable room ideal for a couple’s weekend getaway or even to stay for weeks. Location and price would have to be the best features. Great value.
Shopping Tip : Walk up hill on Pitt St (turn right as you leave the hotel) to get to the Pitt St mall for great shopping.

Good Location to downtown, The Rocks and The Harbour (Darling and Circular). Good Price for Location. Could have been price for the room. The Front desk staff were helpful and well informed, there was also a very good selection of tourist information available from transit and tours to general area maps and sight seeing. The room was of good standard, a little older, but has been remodeled nicely, and was clean.
Tea and coffee facilities in the room plus complimentary bottled water and mini fridge. Housekeeping was very efficient.
There was a nice licensed cafe attached to the lobby for breakfast and coffee or afternoon/evening drinks, which was very convenient.
The Location was perfect for getting about without knowing the city, The Opera House and Harbor Bridge were easy walking distance, along with all modes of public transport. We would certainly stay there again for the location.

Located centrally, the Metro on Pitt was close to shopping, buses, Darling Harbor, but not too far to walk to Circular Quay. The rooms were relatively clean, one could open the windows for fresh air, the staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was way too soft, perhaps the mattress needed to be replaced. Breakfast at the hotel was way too expensive. Arriving at the hotel early in the day, I fully expected my room not to be ready. I was greeted right away and there was a room available so I was able to shower and get refreshed and go for a walk. The front desk personnel answered any questions I had during my stay with patience and honesty. There was one lady in particular that I really liked but I can't remember her name!!! The hotel was really close to the Queen Victoria Building, the Pitt Street Mall, Woolworth's, and lots of little restaurants. I love Sydney so it would be difficult for me to say anything negative and the Metro on Pitt staff made my stay most enjoyable.
Shopping Tip : Buy all your Tim-Tams at Woolworth's. They have the best selection and price. Go for an early morning walk around Darling Harbor. So nice!

Restaurant Tip : Mamma Fu's Vegetarian is a great find just north on Pitt!

It's not a fantastic hotel, but if you are after somewhere reasonable and convenient location, this is the one. Room is reasonably clean and quiet.
Restaurant Tip : There are many Asian food restaurants near the hotel. Try some!

Well organized hotel, modern styling, room size normal, quiet and clean, well furnished bathroom. Internet access and breakfast expensive. Well organized hotel. We had no problems with our reservation done by Agoda several month ago. The location is really optimal at Pitt str. You are in the heart of the city. Nearest subway station is Town Hall. From there you can go directly to the domestic and international airport and all other subway stations.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Best placement for sightseeing and shopping.

Central location near to malls, 10 min walk to Darling harbor and 15 min to the Rocks,staff very good. Recently under new management we were told, room for improvement in the bar and restaurant. This is a small hotel not a 4 star as suggested on web but adequate for a short stay, rooms clean and staff helpful,value for money
