But if you want to hit up the city life, the CBD and great bars and restaurants are just a ferry ride away. The ferry is a nice way to enjoy the city’s breathtaking scenery. Good value, good location, clean and confortable No off street parking, no reception aftr 9.30 If you are after good basic accomodation in North Sydney, the North Shore Motel may suffice. Well located in Miller Street, it is only a few minutes from the commercial centre. Rooms are basic but clean, tea making, TV and A/C provided. Good value for money. No reception after 9.30, but there is a phone hook up to provide acces to room key.

Reasonable price so close to North Sydney, basic, but clean and comfortable. No off street parking, no late night reception North Shore Hotel is located in Miller Street, only a 10 minute walk fron the centre of North Sydney. The rooms are basic but clean, with en suite, television and tea making facilities. If you are after an overnight stay near North Sydney at a reasonable price for this area, the North Shore Hotel should suit your needs.
Travel tip : Beware the parking stations - the early bird parking is good value at $20 per day, but arrive a litte later and the price more than doubles
