The Novotel Rockford Darling Hotel Hotel Sydney is a really good hotel. The staff is friendly as well as very helpful. The downstairs bar was nice and even held the Sydney Slasa communities practice dance night which had numerous beautiful dancers. The hotel is clean and conviently located to the Exhibition Center, Darling Harbor attractions (wildlife park and aqurium) and resturants) as well as the spanish and chinese sections of sydney. Was a very pleasant stay.

Hotel was: clean, good location for the city, has a good bar and good service.

Need better points program with other international rewards program.

• Shopping Tip : The "flea market" is open from Thursday to Sunday, has inexpensive gifts and clothes.

Location aside its a barely OK hotel but with service levels that really need attantion. Probably OK for folks on vacation who have time and dont need to work to normal business hours but for business travellers beware unless yopu like standing in line for long periods of time

As I don't have a laptop computer, I like having internet available. There are two computers available in the lobby which was convenient and accessable 24 hours. The rooms were quiet and relatively clean. Nice big towels, good hot water and shower pressure. Families with children would like to visit the attractions at Darling Harbor as it is family friendly and just a short walk from hotel. I would not recommend going out too late at night.

• Shopping Tip : Approx 4 blocks away on George Street is there a mall with a grocery store and bottle shop. Great prices on snacks.
