Very close to the city, walking distance to the Australian museum, city center and Main Street.
Near china town so many resteraunts close by.

I booked a prepaid deal for 10 nights but had I not bought a prepaid one I'd rather stay elsewhere. Room was small, bathroom was alright, toiletries only soap, bath gel and shampoo - I had to ask for tooth brush and pillows were very flat.
What was a let down for me was the housekeeping. They didn't tidy up the magazines on the table, bed sheet/cover was tucked in really poorly (sometimes I got back and saw the pillows are inside the bed cover. Seem like they couldn't even bother to take out the pillow from underneath the bed cover). They have their green initiative sign in the bathroom (the sign that says if you want fresh towel please put it on the floor and we'll give you a clean ones). I always put mine on the rack but they always gave me fresh ones although there are a few instances where they forgot to gave me any towels so I had to ring reception to send me one.
If you're not as nitty gritty as I am, maybe you'd enjoy staying at this hotel more than I was because the location is quite excellent. Just 10 minutes walk to Darling Harbour and Harbourside for nice restaurants/pubs/bars or you can take the tram or mono rail to go to city. Chinatown is also very very close, only a hop, skip and a jump away. Must go to Chinatown friday night market for some interesting yet delicious asian street food (a bit pricey for street food but worth a try). Hotel also close to Paddy's market if you're looking for souvenirs. Walking to Pitt St Mall, QVB isn't that far either probably 10-15 minutes. If you're lazy just take the monorail which runs every 5 minutes.

this hotel is ideal if you want access to the exhibition centre, staff were attentive and helpful. did not eat at the hotel but chinatown is just accross the road, had some issues with the tv but staff resolved this quickly, would definitely stay again
