Great location, tired hotel.

The view was great - looking out onto the beach and pacific ocean. But the hotel is looking tired, and the bathroom in urgent need of a makeover. The breakfast I would say is below par, and poor value for money. The staff were great though, especially those in the bars and lounge. Check in was OK but long queues later that day. All in all it was about the location, but wouldn't stay here again.

Great location, staff friendly, parking on-site, very comfortable.

Great to be so close to all the restaurants and the beach. On-site parking was a bonus. All the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Facilities comfortable.

Great conference venue. Loved the 60's vibe in the terrace section
Charlies bar very niice place to socialize too and free drink was very conducive

Great location at Manly Beach

Perfect location right at the beach (just one road to cross). The hotel bar is quite lively ove the weekends so if you need some quiet time ask for a room away from the bar and club.
The hotel breakfast is good but not great. There are better options around the Manly area just a few min walk away.
Check-out can be chaotic so settle your bill early in the morning instead of when everyone else is trying to do so...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Head to North Head for spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour.

location was excellent- directly across from the beach and close proximity to the Esplanade and restaurants

Really happy with the location of the hotel directly across fro the beach, it was ony a short walk to great restaurant and the Esplanade, ony draw back was Charlie's bar was popular and crowded, we had to wait quite awhile to get a seat, the price you pay for a popular spot

Great location but disappointed with the rooms

Great location however the rooms were very average, tired and basic for the price you pay. It was great having a balcony however you needed it as the room got very hot (west)and the air conditioner battled to cool the room down.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The Manly to Spit bridge is an excellent walk as well as hiring a bike and cycling round north head.

Great Location
Location is right on the beach. Nice clean modern rooms. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

we were only there for 1 night while doing a scuba diving course. we wanted to stay somewhere nice and somewhere close to the beach so it ticked all the boxes.
Restaurant Tip:
There are lots of really great restaurants and shops all around the hotel. There is also a Coles nearby which is really handy,
