The 450 modern apartment-style rooms, complete with full kitchen and laundry, are certain to please those who are looking for more than just a room. The location of this wool factory, converted to self-catering apartments is very admirable, as all the major tourist attractions as well as the CBD are very nearby. If desired, the famous Star Casino is located just down the street and a world of dining and shopping options are right out the front door, but don't forget to fill up the full-size fridge in each apartment with food from the supermarket! The extremely popular and tranquil Chinese Garden of Friendship is very nearby where guests can escape the noise of the city into an oasis in the city center. A very affordable and spacious facility in the heart of the city, The Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments is certainly a good find, especially given the low price.

TV didn't work properly - bad signal
This hotel is conventiently located to Darling Harbour and the city, staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were modern, clean and comfortable, only problem I had was that the reception on the TV was poor, but this was due to the satellite signal. I would happily stay at this hotel again.

House maids kept room clean and tidyand always respected instructions hung on door.
Oaks Goldsborough is well situated and offers value for money.We we vsit Sydney again we will always make this our first choice of stay.
Restaurant Tip : Look for special offers eg 2 for the price of one.These offers can offer excellent value.

I had a great stay here. As a business traveler, I get tired of hotels. This hotel is really a block of serviced apartments. I found the rate on Agoda to be very reasonable. The indoor pool allows for a full lap. The balcony is great for reading. The AV gear, TV, DVD etc is great, but the operation is confusing. Its easy to get a cab in front of the building, and the light rail system is about a five minute walk away. The rooms are large and airy with lots of light.
Shopping Tip : Most of the grocery stores in the area are convenience stores. If you plan to use the kitchen, figure out where to do your shopping a head of time.
