Mixed thoughts about this one. Were quite disappointed with the interior- felt very much like a jail as you walk in. Rooms were spacious but marked walls and stained floors ruined the stay for us. No view either. Wouldn't stay here again, or recommend to friends.

my wife and i very much enjoyed the friendly service and the clean, roomy apartment. we were at the trade fair and found the location was perfect. the only hiccup was we booked a studio apartment with a balcony but ended up in a one room apartment without a balcony. nevertheless we still enjoyed our stay and will endeavour to stay there again on our next trip to sydney cbd. thank you very much for your hospitality. cheers, ronnie and adrienne.

very neat hotel with large spacious apartments.
walking distance to darling hatbour,location is excelent and full kitchen

i travelled with my 3 year old and getting around was easy and very close by to everything in darling harbour.compared to everything else in the area they gave me the best rate.

the wildlife centre is excelent and walking distnce from hotel
also they have a hop on hop off buss which is a must

we stayed for 2 nights at the oaks goldsbrough apartments. located opposite the convention centre at darling harbour it was very convenient for seeing the city’s main attractions. check-in was painless and we were able to leave our luggage, as we arrived early, until the room was ready. the studio was large and comfortable with all modern facilities allowing for self-catering if this is the preferred option. there was a small balcony which was a nice touch. overall, a pleasant stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Use the ferries for a different view of Sydney. A trip to Manley or Watsons Bay takes about 30 mins.

Convenient location but very average service

oaks is a good option if you look for a place to stay close to central sydney. however i find the cleaning of the room quite variable depending on who is doing the job. i also had to deal with the concierge on the phone and i can say he was quite rude.
so if your company can afford it and you are not looking for a place to hang around all day, this can be a good option.

Very ordinary accomodation for the price

The Oaks Goldsbrough apartment we stayed in was not very satisfactory for the money we spent. There were scuff marks all over the walls.The couch in the lounge room looked very old, shabby and unclean. The upstairs downstairs arrangement also was not something we would book if we had known. We did not read about this arrangement anywhere on the internet homepage. Also location wise we feel it is on the wrong side of Darling Harbour. The other side is much more accessible to the Harbour and the city. The only good thing about this apartment for us is that it was near the Harry Potter Exhibition which is thwe reason we went to Sydney.

Adriano Zumbos Cafe is just up the road from this accomodation

great location for darling harbour and chinatown activities and easy to get to harbour as well. the apartments are clean with lots of space and two bathrooms. great for travelling with kids.kitchens have all you need in a home away and laundry facilities a bonus. staff were helpful and security after hours was good. parking available at a reduced rate if you ask at the desk.
