We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed Sydney.
The room was a little small, the bathroom tight but otherwise all good, clean and tidy.
Plenty of eating places just a stroll away (give the Sydney RSL a mis as the food was terrible !)
Great shopping and sightseeing , the museum and Art Gallery just a short walk away.
Make sure you can get parking if you are driving as it can be expensive if you miss out.
Travel tip:
The museum is a little over rated for what you pay to get in ($15 adults), the Art Galley definetely worth the walk.
The zoo is an expensive day out and not the best if half the animals are hiding or sleeping , ($35each for adults , thought was a bit steep !!)

Room was for 3 adults and they had only provided a double room, but were very happy to give us another room that had an extra bed. I had stated this on my application and I had paid the extra money. The rooms were very clean, the hotel was very central to shops , transport etc. Would stay there again

Great location but SMALL room

Spent our Christmas in Sydney and chose to stay at Park Regis City Centre Hotel for its strategic location. It's close to everything - about 1 min walk to the nearest train station (Town Hall), 15-min walk to Circular Quay and 10-min walk to Chinatown.
The room was really really small though. The bed was literally next to the bathroom and there's hardly any walking space. Fortunately it's clean.
The check-out time is really early at 10am (and there are extra charges if u check out after 10am). They also charge you for looking after your luggage after check-out - $2 per luggage. However, we only had one small luggage bag and one of the male staff did not bother to take the $2 from us.
Overall it's good value for money.

Good hotel, friendly staff. They provided free car park which is rare for a lot of city based hotels. Staff are quite friendly and helpful. No frills hotel - no bell boy or hotel lobby.

we were occupying a premier queen room facing the main road. it was rather noisy esp on friday night and early morning. if you are not an early riser please do not get the rooms facing the main road as it gets noisy from morning 8am. the best feature of this hotel is the viewing deck on the 45th floor. you can get a marvelous view of sydney from the deck. i would consider this hotel again for my next visit as long as i do not get the rooms facing the main road.
