Great location
Walking distance to loads of places.

we picked this hotel for its location. everything is walking distance, we walked down to the darling harbour loads of things to see.
take the free bus 555, for two full laps of the city its free and you get to see places to go. als do the same on the mono rail, its not free. bondi beach is not that special but you can take a bus from just around the corner. free wifi is available across the road at the mcdonalds.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Use the freegreen bus no 555, it goes around the city in a loop.

Convenient City Centre location, no restaurant.

Nice hotel in a good location. The rooms are clean with no frills but perfectly adequate. The hotel would benefit from an on-site restaurant, particularly for breakfast. There is an arrangement with the cafe next door, but this is not quite the same. There are numerous restaurants nearby, so lunch and dinner is not a problem.
Shopping Tip:
Conevenient for all the best shops, David Jones, Myer. From the hotel you can walk to the QVB, a location not to be missed by serious shoppers.

The location of the hotel is great, located in the city centre and near to places like darling harbour. However, the room is a little bit small and not really that luxurious. Generally suitable for short term stay and those who don't stay much in the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Darling harbour is a very nice place and the fish market is a great place with very nice view and food.

This hotel needs to double glaze windows or insulate or do something to control the street noise. It is impossible to get a good night's sleep, traffic, sirens, people shouting in street. Hot water system very basic and very low water pressure. Very good location and would be good hotel if a couple of issues were fixed.
Restaurant Tip:
A lot of Sydney restaurants now close before 11pm. To eat after concerts, Chinatown is only option. Sydney is dead after 11pm, a victim of the nanny state.

good location, very helpful staff and clean reasonable room for the price that i had to pay during my stay. my room was located near the main street so during the night it was noisy. probably it will be a different story if my room wasn't located near the main road. nevertheless it is an affordable and good hotel!
Shopping Tip:
Close to the shopping area with plenty of restaurants around.

As I went to the hotel during the springtime, the weather was still quite chilly and I was cold in the room as it has no heating. It has air conditioning, but no heating. So I had to ask for a small heater and thank goodness, they had a last one available.
Shopping Tip:
As the hotel is right in the city centre, there are shops and stores, and supermarkets galore!
