Happy with the hotel staff who gave us a choice of rooms to stay. The hotel shuttle bus came to pick us from the Boiler house restaurant at 9pm which was very nice The bathroom outside the hotel room was fine with modern touches in fact it adds a scary dimension to the ghostly historical setting of the place.

Only wish there was security screen door on bedroom so door could be left open at night to let in fresh air.
Travel tip:
If staying a few days be good to catch ferry across to manly and back few hours later. But note ferry times last return early in the afternoon.

Nice room although no air con fan worked fine. Few staff around to help though and could be friendlier. Bus service to rooms not good enough, non existent or slow. Very relaxing and nice almost private beach.

Beautiful suite with amazing view

The suite was lovely and it had an exceptional view. Boiler house meals were delicately flavored and delicious. We felt totally relaxed at the beach and on our verandah watching the sun go down. Shuttle was slow to pick up in the morning which was mildly irritating. We were pleasantly surprised with the 11pm checkout. Usually the 2pm check in and 10 am or even 9am checkout at other hotels leaves us feeling ripped off. So please don't change the 11am checkout. That was the second time I have stayed at Q Station and we want to come back in March we had the best time

Beautiful place to stay. Close enough to Manly for a short cab ride but nicely tucked away from the noise of the main town.
Travel tip:
Jellyfish cafe in Manly is excellent for dinner.

Amazing environment

Travelling for business and going from airports to taxis to conference rooms this was such a relief not to have to go back to a hotel room. The views were amazing, the birdlife, the walks, the beach,the restaurant and the beer garden completely rejuvenate the mind and body for another day of business.

Interesting hotel in a great location
Interesting, lots of different room types and things to look at and do

Q Station was great, the staff were friendly, even coming in late at night they drove us to our rooms and helped out whenever we needed it.
There is a long walk from the reception to the rooms so take the shuttle bus whenever you can.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Get a taxi to and from Manly. Don't try and walk
