Good Location, Good service, helpful staff, good facilities, clean,
Limited refreshments available as the bar only sold cocktails.
Our experience at the Cambridge was a pleasant one. We were greeted in a very friendly manner by courteous staff who answered our questions and offered advice.
Our room was crisp and clean and really lacked nothing and the location was an easy walk to shops etc.
The harbors were also easy to stroll to about minutes away.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to Paddy's Market and the surrounding areas

Nice sized room, and bathroom both bigger than the average for this class of hotel. Up on the 11th floor i was not aware of any noise from any nearby bars and so on. Staff were helpful and friendly
If you are going to use the hotel's car park (additional charge made for this) be aware its under the hotel and on several levels with quite tight turns and is not suited for large cars (small/medium are best) both because of the tight turns and that there are more parking spaces for these types of vechile.
I had wired internet access which was fast enough for email and web browsing and using VOIP functions such as skype and google talk but not much good for online games - Speed tests came out at an upload speed of a max of 300 kbps
Overall a pleasant stay, and reasonably well located (it took me about 25 minutes to walk to the opera House) my comments on the car parking and internet access are not really criticisms but simply points worth knowing before you travel (especially if you are thinking of parking that big four wheel drive there!).I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Cambridge again if I am fortunate enough to get to Sydney again. I cant comments on the food/bar or pool as I did not use these facilities during my stay.
Hotel Feature Tip : Good security feature - you need to use your room access card in the lift in order for the lift to work! Not seen this before but I like the idea of stopping unwanted people getting to the corridors where the rooms are.

Price is very competitive.
Very near the Oxford Street, which is a nice place for shopping and dining.
Location is far away from the Central Railway Station, 20 mins for walking.
Good Hotel, with Balcony inside the room, staff are nice, but the luggage store seems so insecure coz everyone can get in, price is very cheap and worth for living.
Travel tip : The water boiler should be replaced because it is so dirty.

Quite modern interior, well located to walk to the center and harbour, lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood.
We didn't have breakfast included so we had to buy it separately.
Nice modern hotel, the special elevator card gives you a safe feeling. The staff let us check in at 12:00 o'clock instead of 2 p.m. so that was nice.
Restaurant Tip : The is at Oxford Street a very nice Swiss bakery where they still make delicious breads and do some coffee-art with pleasure!

Location well located in relation to intercity bus hubs, cleanliness
Value for money, room features lacking
Based on the hotel star rating I was expecting a more luxurious hotel.A Cab drivers was not certain of its location before giving him the physical address details.I did not eat there so I could not rate the food but the pricing of the food appeared reasonable. Room only had shower with no bath which was a problem since my 5yr old child was with me.

Apartment room with separate bedroom and kitchenette ideal for 3 of us travelling together - couple +1. No smoking rule in all sydney hotels but great balcony so no problems at all.
advertises Gym & swimming pool but both fairly minimalistic and not really worth bothering with. Also no food faciities in evenings which was required after full days siteseeing - only breakfast.
great value for money hotel in reasonable location for exploring the main highlights of sydney for a few days. Hotel staff provide map and very helpful advice when needed for getting about. Within walking distance of Darling Harbour, Paddys market, Central train station and Circular Quay (all up to 30 mins) but easy local transport if walking so far not for you. Rooms great for families or couples +1 as separate bedroom; lounge, kitchenette and balcony for smokers. Was able to enjoy evening snacks and drinks in own comfort after heavy duty sight seeing days.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : only 15 mins to central train station and easy trip (2 hours) to blue mountains which are well worth a visit for a day. Not expensive and easy to do as independants - no need to book an excursion.

Modern, welcoming and all you could ask for in facilities. The fitting and furniture were lovely...staff fantastic.
Rooms are very noisy and very very small and so is the lift. Made it difficult with bags, etc.
Whilst we found the rooms very small and quite noisy, our stay was most enjoyable. The facilities in the hotel were great, and everyone went out of their way to be of assistance. This hotel has the nicest beds I have ever slept on in a hotel, and amazing pillows, which made the other things appear to be redundant. I would most certainly stay there again, and the cost of rooms is quite reasonable taking into consideration the location and quality of the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. All my friends that stayed also really enjoyed themselves as well.
Nightlife Tip : You have to do a pub crawl while staying there, it is a real eye opener and guaranteed heaps of laughs.

The deluxe rooms are really modern and well furnitured.
No breakfast included with the room price.
The hotel is located in the center of Sydney and in a quite silent area. On foot, you can reach practically everywhere. If you travel with your family and small children, it might be the most convenient place to stay for quality and location.
If the rooms sound to be expensive, don't hesitate, because the general hotel quality is very good.

The location was pretty good. Near enough the city to walk over for dinner or sightseeing.
Poor view, dirty bathroom, curling paint, a gym which was terrible at best (one weight machine and a broken sauna just isn't a gym!). Pool is small and not very welcoming.
We had a very poor experience at this hotel. Although the staff were friendly, they weren't very competent. For example they weren't ready for us to check in, then when the guy went off to check whether the room had been cleaned it took him fifteen minutes to ever get back to us. When we finally did get into the room, the paint in the bathroom was peeling, the television was too small, and the room faced onto a dirty back alley. Have stayed at five other places in Sydney, all of which were better value and nicer overall. Suggest looking elsewhere...

So many: impolite staff, bad location, and small rooms.
This is one of the worst hotels I have ever been to, the staff of the hotel is not very polite or helpful. The rooms are very small and congested. We arrived early at the hotel around 12 and we requested them for an early check-in. They denied and the made us wait in the lobby for two hours and allowed us to check in at 2. It was not a good experience staying at this hotel.

The breakfast buffet is rather Meager. It should be better without breakfast reservations and outside a breakfast in a restaurant. This is cheaper and better. The staff friendly and helpful. But the rooms are so small that there can not feel good. Only two days for a suitable. Even the bathroom is small and stocky. These rooms are for a maximum of one person and suitable bed.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Free Tourist Bus only 4 minutes walk from the hotel. Similarly, the free tram.
