Well located hotel but small rooms
Location, Easy access to King's Cross

This hotel is well located in the middle of King's Cross. You can find easily bars, restaurants. The subway is 2 minutes away by walk.
I would recommend this hotel for back packers. Family should avoid King's cross as it can be crowded with drunk and weird people in the evening.
Room is very small and very dark.

got the room on an agoda special rate. petite suite is really a tiny room smaller than normal hotel room size. like a tiny japan hotel room but still a nice design ...
would not stay there if it cost more than 130. so for what i paid it was great

Nice and clean hotel, strategic location
clean and nice room, location near to city centre

staff were friendly and prompt in serving us. was able to check-in earlier by an hour (1pm). room was clean and tidy. location was behind the busy street of kings cross, so it wasn't noisy. near to the city centre. around 15-20 mins walk. however, this area is well-known for its night-life. so, we're not so sure about the security there during the night as we didn't dare to stay up so late.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
visit blue mountains with pj tours. good service and great view.

Great location, room not perfect

The Quest Potts Point is located right in the heart of Potts Point so, from that perspective, it has a great location. It's down a one-way road, so expect to pay a couple of extra $ if you are getting there by taxi. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful and really went out of their way to assist me with queries, calling taxis, etc. The room is a great size for a single traveller or a couple travelling together, for a few days. It had all the essential items including iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and plenty of clean towels. The bathroom was spotless and the linen was fresh and clean. My only complaint was about the bedside tables, desk and other shelves in the room that had clearly not been cleaned/wiped down since the last guests had stayed. There were dirty and sticky marks on the shelves and tables. I did email the hotel following my stay to notify them about this but I have not yet heard back from them. I would recommend Quest Potts Point but suggest you do some research on Potts Point so that you know beforehand what the area is like - it might not be to everyone's taste!
Restaurant Tip:
There is a great restaurant (Petrol) a couple of doors down from Quest Potts Point that I would recommend for breakfast/brunch. The coffee is excellent and the menu is even better!

I arrived early but room not available. I told them that I need to clean up to attend my meeting. They are kind enough to upgrade the room and get it ready in 10 minutes. Very friendly staff and fantastic service.

Great Hotel in good location

I stayed at the Quest for one night on a business trip to Sydney. The hotel is conveniently located in a central area. The hotel staff were fantastic. Friendly greeting and prompt check in. The room I had was a petite suite. The room was compact, but I've stayed in smaller rooms. Plenty of room to move around with a small table and kitchenette. The bathroom was very small, but fine for 1 person. I would happily stay there again.
