Nice deco. and facilities room. Staff service is smooth and quique, they let me early check in when I arrive in a morning.
Hotel room key did not work for their lifts sometiomes.
The hotel located in a heart of downtown and commercial area. If you vsit Sydney first time, you will find eating, shopping and local transpotation easily. Also rooms are new deco. ,good facilities and reasonable price. I must stay Rydges World Square Hotel when I come back as business trip to Sydney again.
Restaurant Tip : I found nice and very traditional Japanese restaurant near Rydges World Square Hotel.

Close to city centre and all amenities.
The hotel is a two pillow hotel. One to sleep on and one to cover your ears from the noise outside the hotel. There was loud music coming from somewhere down below and it didn't stop until 2:00am.
Other than that, the hotel was very good. Central to the city, shops and restaurants and minutes away from theatres and cinemas. The service was good and the rooms large, comfortable and clean.

The hotel is in the heart of city downtown.
Room facility, service, fare all are excellent.
Sometimes my room key did not work for the lifts.
The hotel is located in the heart of city downtown. If you visit Sydney first time, you will easily find eating, shopping, bars, nightlife.
Skytrain is just in the hotel,so very convinient to move around by public transpotation.
Restaurant Tip : I found a Japanese restaurant `Azuma` near the hotel. I was fed up with local food because it was 10days stay in Aus. `Azuma` was really tasty and perfect Traditional Japanese. But a bit expensive.

- great location close to china town, sydney cbd, shopping center.
- great room
- friendly reception
- after 10pm, you can enter the hotel only the main entrance.
I recommend this hotel when you are looking for hotel in centre of Sydney. The hotel locates on the great location close to transportation such as train or tram. There are many tasty restaurants around there such as Makoto, BBQ city.
Restaurant Tip : Makoto sushi located near the hotel, BBQ city is opposite of the hotel. And you can enjoy night-life at cheer pub, three monkeys. Furthermore, there are many spainish restaurants on liverpool street

Central Location with easy access to monrail, train station and taxis
you must insert room key into mechinism to be able to use the outlets and lights in the room. This was not discussed with us upon check-in. Otherwise I would have asked for an extra key.
Rydges is a great hotel with excellant service from the back of the house staff. We arrived late due to a storm that hit Sydney airport and we were diverted for an hour or so. Upon check in the staff did not inform us of the operations on how to work the guest room. No valet was available during that time frame of 12 midnight. It would have been nice to be informed during check in. The light fixture in the bathroom ceiling fell exploding in the sink below. Luckily I had just exited the restroom. I informed the staff at the front desk and they apologied. Other than that the stay was pleasant. The gentlemen Christopher at the dinning rooma area was extremely knowledgeable about the area the hotel was in. I used him for resourse everyone morning as I pick up coffee. He is a great person. I would like to thank him again.
Shopping Tip : centralized for shopping

Lack of personel to attend to our needs but very good personel despite multitasking choirs
We enjoyed our Stay at Rydges World Square Sydney Hotel where we stayed for five days and four nights. The location of Rydges World sydney hotel is very strategic and very close to transportaion, attractions, Hyde Park, shopping malls, restaurants, pubs and groceries. The rooms were nice and clean and comfortable and the lobby was very inviting.
Restaurant Tip : The hotel is very near China Town with a lot of good chinese food

I recommend this hotel to stay in Sydney.
Restaurant Tip : Many good Korean restaurants nearby. Also one of the best sushi train restaurants in town call "Makoto" just there, but long queue.

availability of employees and their kindness. The clean, quiet room for a spacious hotel conveniently located in downtown Sydney (near a monorail station and the subway Town Hall, located in a square with shops , restaurants, bottle shop, a grocery, pharmacy)
Air conditioning is noisy with a control panel difficult to use. In the room serving breakfast, small cockroaches walking on the counter.
An ideal hotel to visit the center of Sydney. It is very well situated, since it is the corner of the "World Square" including restaurants, shops, a grocery, a bottle shop so close ... transport (taxis, elevated railway, subway) 5 min walk Chinatown and its picturesque pedestrian street. I recommend it gladly.

Cordial counter service, conveniently located, reasonably priced. Room is not small. New equipment.
Part of the hotel staff are not familiar with the process
